i already wrote a mail at all smp players from the past years in april.
also a lot of time not really help to find new players.

Well as I said, last year was my first NC so I was blissfully unaware that a team would potentially not be allowed to re-enter! Surely you can understand that I was surprised we might not compete together again despite getting to final!... I had also found a new UK player (Robin).
Also... my team PR post was the beginning of registration in some ways - pointed out we were 2 weeks behind schedule and got the ball rolling! 
NC fever!!!

6 Full days should should give time enough to go through all that stuff and have the teammates come back to their BR (Kasi can ahve an extra week to think over it ). No thanks for the pink, at least everybody can catch the important stuff !
5 items to answer.
1. Lineups
Current rule :
13.3 The captain sends the TD a PM WEEKLY with the five-player lineup no later than Wednesday, 11:00 PM (GMT)
A. The captain sends the TD a PM WEEKLY with the 4-player lineup no later than Wednesday, 11:00 PM (GMT)
B. The captain sends the TD a pm WEEKLY with the 5-player lineup no later than Wednesday, 11:00 PM. A 4-player team is allowed to have one of their player twice in a lineup. No player can be part of a lineup in 2 slots a 2nd time before all team members have been in lineup twice once.
C. We keep the rule as it is. (basically means that we keep all the rules from NC 2011)
2. Seeding
Current rule :
13.2 Team's rank is decided by the sum of ratings of best 6 players as of DATE TO BE DECIDED.
D. Team's rank is decided by the average of ratings of all the players part of the team as of DATE TO BE DECIDED.
E. Team's rank is decided by the sum of ratings of best 4 players as of DATE TO BE DECIDED.
F. We keep the rule as it is (makes only sense if voted c. above).
3. Schedule of play

It is allowed to start arranging and playing a new round before the previous round has been finished.
In order to give some flexibility to 4-player team and help them send a lineup for every clash, should we modify the part in bold and add the following :
14.2 Safe exit
"Once the schedule of Round Robin is released :
If one 4 player-team knows in advance that one of their players is not able to play in the time of a certain clash, they can ask to have that particular match played before the due time. It is the responsibility of the captain of that team to contact his/her peer to find an arrangement.
Each team, when ready, will send a lineup made of 1 name for that match. The remaining lineup will be sent to the TD at the time scheduled including the score of the match already played."
G. Yes, add "Safe Exit" to the current rule.
H. No, we don't need "Safe Exit". Rules are fine as they are.
4. Length of Clash
Current rule :
Example: the second round, of which the draw will be posted not later than Friday, 19th of September, must be finished latest on Sunday the 28th of September. .
I. Keep the rule as it is. (Rule is good itself / "Safe exit" solves the problem).
J. Stretch the length of a clash from 10 Days to 2 weeks.
5. Duration of a match during the Round Robin
Current rule :
A. Number of games per match during round robin
Best-of-five, i.e. match is over when a player has won 3 games. A tied game doesn't count for the match. Possible results are 3-0, 3-1, and 3-2.
K. Keep the rule as it is : Best of 5.
L. Each match consists of 5 games. Possible results are 5-0, 4-1, 3-2. (to give more strength to the 'games won' tiebreaker )
M. Each match consists of 6 games. Possible results are 6-0, 5-1, 4-2, 3-3. (Pegaso's proposal : equal number of starts + more possible results for a clash)

1. A, B or C
2. D, E or F
3. G or H
4. I or J
5. K, L or M
Some minor changes would automatically occur depending on the vote. I won't submit that to the board, there's enough work to do. So, unless I receive a pile of PMs telling me 'who do you think you are', i'll make those changes  !
TNT rule :
If we go 4 player-team, idea is to make stricter rules for TNT and to give more flexibility to the teams as a compensation.
9. Any country that has 6 or more players listed in the player/country list HAS to try to form their own national team.

Obsolete rule to be deleted
- Each Sunday before 11:00 PM GMT, the captains edit their post in the REGISTRATIONAL thread with the result of last round in matches and games (game scores are not necessary, just the number of victories per team).
We will have a vote later, concerning the duration of a match during the KO Roundm the tiebreaker in the KO Round, and an eventual rule to schedule NC final.

What happens in this one with ties? Is result possible 4-1-1 or 3-2-1, and ties would not make equal starts.
