Nay asks, if the players can show their tickets before starting the game... We decided against that, because of the live feed via trictrac tv - to avoid the minor possibility of cheating. The tournament and all participants are very friendly, so everything is more than fair! So you need to keep on guessing, what the players draw by watching the tv. The angel, that actually can be seen on tabel 1 (Big Final close view) is perfect. But why is now the other game no longer shown? Is it possible, that we get on the other small-final-table- the same angel on table 2? [Report message to a moderator]

By the way - both cameras show the final! Camera 1 focuses on the board. Camera 2 shows the whole scene - players and board. To Schwen: Sadly, there are only two cameras and the main action is now at the big final, sorry! [Updated on: Sat, 19 June 2010 18:14] [Report message to a moderator]

Hi all, First of all, thank you all for the congratulations here or via PM. I would also like to thank my competitors in Paris for the great competition and the very nice atmosphere. And of course this includes all the supporters. Of course I would also like to thank Days of Wonder for making the whole world championship possible. Thank you to Asmodee, especially Philippe, for running the Benelux championship. And a special thank you to Adrien for running a perfectly organized final in Paris on a very fitting and nice location. (As a small favor in return, I have been making some publicity for Days of Wonder and Ticket to Ride in the local media who got wind of my title). My wife and I are looking forward to the trip on the Orient Express. But before and after (but not during) I look forward to spending some good times with all you very nice people here playing Ticket to Ride online. Thank you all once more!
