Last try to solve the TNT-issue

We are not stupid and we all like NC.
So, let's try to be constructive and find a solution.
1. PRUE/TRUE
If PRUE agrees, Olle Boll will join Portugal.
2. TNT.
This is still not clear (for me) who is intrested to play NC at this time (I mean: players from small countries). So, may I suggest to put your name in this threat en try afterwards to group players together, or join national teams. I will do it in a constructive way. If necessary, I will ask some 'legends' to help me (dea, Qorlas, Sysy, Trucker, ...)
Please, do not respond to this post with messages like 'good idea', 'stupid', 'welcome', ... If you want to express something, send me a pm.
yours truly

We were already constructive before that.

Let's make a list of potential players concerned by TNT :
Finland and their players.
Sweden : Olle Boll, Rcec1 ?. Westlink aka Jugga is a multiplayer, might worth a try.
Belgium : GSV3
Greece : Kostas, Vassilis (they can be both temporary patch).
UK : Ironhorse, Robin Hood ?, Will ?
Canada : APerfect Circle, thesteamwistle and A Canadian_eh are regular players here.
Mexico : Dhablos,
Peru : Rush
Venezuela : Danipo.
I'll send all those players a pm, and we should be able to form at least 2 TNT's
DEADLINE TO REGISTER YOUR TRANSNATIONAL TEAM IS SET ON SUNDAY, 16th OF SEPTEMBER 23:00 CET / 21:00 UTC
|
For your information, some are working in the background to have a UK team on board.
First, I'd contact Val, who openly stated he wanted to form a TNT.
I'd contact A_Canadian_eh, APerfectCircle. I'd give a try to the thesteamwhistle aka matsch73 who has played several NC.
Kostas can be a sub but lilely non playing. Try vassilis, we never know.
To the list, JimmyJaZedZed expressed wish to play for a team, our 3rd team is full.
If you guys send a PM "I want to create a TNT for NC with Val, I heard you were interested. Are you in ?", it's more efficient than me saying "Maybe someone will contact you, or go contact him, he might be interested".
I dont know exactly where Val's team is at the moment though.

If PRUE, Olle Boll and the TD agree.

Hi
1. Yep, I see Olle almost portuguese so that's fine with me, thou Olle is more than welcome to possibly formed TNT too.
2. Let's see what we are up for.
Team Finland is too weak as own national team, because we have only 3 fully agreed players (Val, Snowstar and sisu) and 2 more agreed to sub when needed (Juuco and Make72)
Therefore we are willing to join TNT when needed.

Just remember: anyone not on an Already registered team, can be asked to join a TNT.
Nationality does not matter at this time; only that a person wants to play Nation's Cup and does not have a team.
So join up. List your name here and see what happens.

In response to PM from GSV3 I will repost what I posted in "NC 2012 - Transnational team(s)" thread....
If any one is desperate enough (4:16 streak lowered my already marginal rating a discouraging amount), I would be available to play on a TNT. However, I would not anticipate being able (or wanting!) to play every week.

Hi all
Just want to say to the community that PRUE will not ask TD if Olle Boll is allowed to join our team. This was a very very tough decision for PRUE, but we believe that is the best for the competition.
We played together since 2008 in a TNT team, always with an excellent team spirit (like a national team, for sure, or even stronger) but always with conscience that NC is a National competition where TNT are allowed for players, that can't form a national team, have the possibility to participate in the most important TTR tournament.
This year, with rules change, we can form a portuguese team and we believe, after this "fight", going back to a TNT makes no sense at all, even if it means a less strong and competitive team.
Olof already knows our position and i hope to see him in 2012 NC, even in the other side, because players (persons) like him are always good for this community.
PRUE is looking forward to the beginning of 2012 NC
All the best
Rui

All good.
It's been quite an exiting week.I declared that I was off NC since ! dint't feel any excitement of joining a new team. However great responses from a lot of players. then, the possibility of maybe joining PRUE occurred.
At that point, having been a bad complainer, i couldn't do anything but offer PRUE my services.
After some considerations they decided to make pRUE a pure portuguese team.
i'm very pleased with that decision, everything else would have been odd.
But since all the support and engagement to find a new home for the outcast Swede I decide I would give nc a new try. Good for NC and the community. Community has shown that old rules should be changed. So old grumpy men should also consider changes
so..... to be continued

Wonderful news Olle!
Now if everyone could see what happened in the reform of the rules in the same way... Things would be wonderful.
We are going to have a wonderful NC with several more national teams than expected and 2-3 TNT teams.
I hope that everyone will find a good TNT team. NOW it's the time to form them!
Cannot wait to see the groups Monday

Good to hear, old Swede !
As far as I know, there will be a UK team as well.
Sorry to see Rui was pushed again to explain Portugal's position here, after Miguel and Mary already explained.
But obviously "we aren't stupid" and we're trying to "be constructive".
My appologies to GSV for replying, despite his clear instructions. It makes a lot of sense that someone who has withdrawn 3 times from this year's competition and has 3-4 active accounts tells us all not to reply (even asks people in PM to delete their posts here), when he opens yet another thread and posts ignorantly about Peter de Zeeuw and hogika, just to draw attention.

Hey Steven,
Happy to see old buddies back finally
Just one little comment to you, because you are the Captain... there are several contributors for Ticki (I am part of), and I think they all would be happy to see that your teammate, currently named "---------", wouldn't change his pseudo continually during the tournament. Thanks for them.
Anyway, it's a minor thing... the most important is that you are there, and I wish you good time in this NC, old amigos !
