Quality Time with TheKid, Léachris, Rek18 and others Wed, 11 May 2005 16:53
First off, I would like to congratulate TheKid for currently holding the TTR championship belt. I'm sure you deserve to be at that number 1 position. I'm also sure you're aware that being the number 1 puts you under a lot of pressure. And I'm just wondering if you're up for it, being under constant stress of defending that title while everybody is dying to get a shot at you.
I'm used to being hated and envied because of who I am, which is good-looking and pretty darn witty. To me that number 1 position would be no problem. But you... We'll see...

Second... Léachris, honey... I'm not going to hide this anymore. But people... Léachris whooped my butt like an over-active French maid with a brush set loose in the Sahara. Three games in my disadvantage (33-117, 36-121 and 70-111). But there's something about the way you play...
You place your trains with such violence, so viciously, that it almost scares me. But on the other hand, something tells me "faire attention, fragile"... (yeah, I know, I'm pretty hot when I write French)... about you. The way you play tells me you're hurt. But I just want you to know, whoever broke your heart and stepped on your feelings, not all men are alike. So if I, The Ideal Son-Outlaw, can brighten up your day by letting you give me a butt whooping, then I am honored to.

Rek18, I don't know what your problem is, but last week I've tried at least 7(!) times to join your game, but you refused to play against me. You didn't even have the decency to answer me when I talked to you. And then, when you finally replied on my Hardcore Match challenge, I get this:

My god you are an annoying piece of shit. Jump into a game I create or get yourself ranked 1600 and then talk to me. I'm not scheduling a time to play a nobody.
Until then why don't you shut up?
Message me again or continue with your assinine posts on the forums and I'll just put you on my Ignore List where I think you belong.
Kind regards,
Rek

Why, Rek? In "Diary of a Blocker" you are also talking mean about German players and I also sense rivalry between you and TheKid. Why? Where does all that anger come from? Did your parents build you a swing facing the wall when you were little? What caused you such trauma that you cannot even communicate properly? All I want is a simple match against you and humiliate you in railroad combat. Is that too much to ask?
You know what I think? I think you need a hug.

Finally, I would like to say something to Achim2004. You were a rat to cheat, but you were also man enough to admit it and face the consequences. You rise on my respect-o-meter. Just like Orc&Roll, who has the guts to play in Battle Royales (4 player games) as I saw yesterday. That's not chicken! I did not have the pleasure to roll with the Orc yet myself, but I'm sure that time will come soon.

With kind regards,

D.I.S.

Nobody broke my heart, and nobody who would try to(too dangerous for a man, you are all so fragile !) Very Happy

I think we know the days Peter pays a visit to the red light district.

I love this guy. I want to give you a big hug!!!!!

Can't wait to play against you. Don't worry the pressure won't get to me, remember thekid is theman.

That being said I love your signature line. I am your final destination. Brilliant on so many levels. I also like Zug's may the block be with you. So of course now I need a good one.

I have always been partial to thekid is theman. Thought about refrences to blocking, whining and Candyland but they all missed the mark.

But fear not I have found the one. And the envelope please .........

Nice. I like the chess reference. I never really paid attention to sigs before but they are very clever. Gotta get in on this action! Very Happy

I have played Ticket to Ride... but only as a boardgame edition with my friends. It is always more fun to play with people you know. But I have MAYBE decided to try the on-line version.

Is there anyone of the gang who would volunteer to earn free points by playing a game against me? I will probably play a little slow... so it may be tedious... but I guess to compensate, it also probably means points for you.

Peter? I guess I would accept your earlier challenge....since you are now in the top500, after all. Razz

Your claim that I refused to play you (7 times! Laughing) is an outright lie. If I had a game set up for anyone to join, which I do often, you were free to join. If I'm busy playing pre-arranged games with respectable opponents I'm not going to abandon them to take your challenge.

Posting a private message publicly isn't kosher in my books. I think I've made it clear enough in the past that I consider your manner obnoxious and that I'm not interested in your self-aggrandizing attitude (three threads about yourself now!) You didn't post your own message:

How about it?

Are you man enough?

I'm waiting Rek...

D.I.S.

I am your final destination

Seriously, did you expect a respectful response to that? You have a clear need for attention. Leachris and others seem willing to give it to you (why?!), be happy with that and leave me out, thanks.

That's more than enough time wasted on you, congrats on being added my ignore list. Perhaps your most significant accomplishment on T2R to date, maybe you should start another thread about it?

Well, that's one very clever, not to mention cocky signature line you have there, TheKid. You are all just pawns in MY GAME. But then again, walking around with the championship gold around your waist, you have every right to your claim of being "The Game". A true champion wins his matches before the match is even played. A catching signature line and an attitude can beat down your opponents before you even actually meet them in railroad combat. Respect from my side to TheKid.

But I have to say that Léachris counters TheKid's signature line with a butt-kicking One pawn can kill the queen. That's brilliant! It makes me want to lose even more matches against you, Léa!
SKMorefield's I have your ticket to nowhere... sounds really threatening, which is great too. And let us not forget Zugbegleiterin's May the block be with you. Man, let me tell you, that woman knows how to play mind tricks with you!
And as for you, Ryan35, I'll be glad to have a good old-fashioned friendly slobber knocker with you! Thanks!

But Rek, I honestly don't know what your problem is. I sent you one private message with a challenge for a match and you put me on your ignore list? Excuse me, but isn't that the whole idea of TTR online? To play matches against each other? What's wrong with the PM I sent you? It's not like I did you an indecent proposal involving whip-cream and midgets. Man, you tick off easily.

As far as last week concerns, I did not lie. I joined your game at least 7 times with no response from your side. But alright, knowing that there were some problems with the website, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
I admit that posting your PM on the forum isn't really kosher, but I just wanted to push your buttons some more and turn the heat on a bit. Also, I wanted to show everybody what a humorless crybaby you are.
Really, have you lost your sense of humor somewhere along the way while riding from LA to New York? You talk trash, you get trash. You give respect, you get respect. That's the way it works.

So Rek, you can ignore me all you want... you can't deny me. Cool

D.I.S.

Folks,

Some of the comments on this thread are turning a little too nasty, so please let's tone down the vitriol and play nicely with each other. Sad

Thanks,

Most certainly, sir!

Not my intention to insult anyone. Just wanted to turn the heat on a bit to make the rivalry more interesting. Smile

Take care!
