Very nice work!! Those look great. There will be a lot of players (including me) happy to have the document to print out and tuck into the front of the book so that all the errors are in one place...and you made it look good while you were at it.
Thanks for your hard work!

Thank you so much! This is a great contribution to the M44 community. It really is helpful to have something like this to insert in the book.

This is excellent ... very handy to have in one place!
I may have spotted a slight error ...
The final correction in the Battle of Normandy Campaign, which mentions the extra point for a FOURTH objective ..
I wasn't aware you gained 3 points for only securing 3 objectives, as you state.
Currently in the book, it is 2 points for 3 objectives.
The missing objective, ie the 4th objective, is worth the additional point.
Therefore the statement:
''Right amount of points on the Objective track for Allies is 3, if they gain 3 or 4 objectives'', is not strictly correct as far as I can see?
Could anyone confirm this?
Cheers
Jim

Also, one other thing I've just noticed, (im going throught the Normandy campaign as it goes ) ..
At Mont Pincon (Early Falaise), I'm assuming the Axis forces start with a medal toward their six, as they hold Mont Pincon.
Should this be reflected in the scenario ?
Cheers

JayKay2010, thank you for your comments. As for the first one, you're right, I have already corrected the mistake. I hadn't checked the source topic correctly. About the "Mont Pincon" scenario, I think it's clear from the statement in the briefing: "The Axis hold the Medal unless any Objective hex is occupied by an Allied unit." And therefore it doesnt need to be included in erratas.

Good point...Make it 3 then. Getting all of them would be difficult and it should count for something a little more.
Though, I'm still not sure why this even occurred? I was pretty attentive in this design. Something either slipped through or I had something else in mind and can't recall what it was now.
|
So missing box should state 3 points for 4 objectives.
deemao has it correct!
| Quote: | p. 28 - Taking Caen
The last column in the Objective Track for Allies is missing: if you gain all 4 objectives, you will get 3 Victory Points.

An added info for Red Barricades.
When you use the Air Pack version of Red Barricades scenario as part of the Air Aces Campaign, Blitz Rules should be in effect.
The Air Pack version of the scenario doesn't mention Blitz rules so I think it belongs in the document.
The Eastern Front version has, correctly, Blitz Rules in effect.

Hello,
first, thanks to deemao for both documents.
One question I'd like to throw in here:
Page 6 - General Rules - Victory Event Roll Results
Last paragraph: "Starting with the player that moves first in the scenario you are about to begin, resolve the dice rolls using the following Events Table. Start with any infantry rolled and finish with any flags:"
However, the table that follows that paragraph starts with Infantry but ends with Grenades. Is it an errata?
Regards

No, it's not a mistake. The Grenade is resolved after everything because your apply the Grenade hits on yourself. So basically that paragraph is telling us what order to complete the events we do to the other player! The Grenade is seperate...if that makes sense?

Your last paragraph is a bit confusing - it almost sounds like you are saying that thep layer who rolls a greande VE takes a loss from one of his units.
After a player rolls his VE rolls his opponent must remove a figure for each unit symbol rolled and retreat a unit of his choice for each Flag rolled. Note, unlike grenade rolls, there is no limit to how many hits can be applied to the same unit off of the unit symbol rolls. So for example, if one side has only has one 2 tank on the board and theo ther side rolls 2 Tank VE rolls, that units is lost and the opponent gets a medal - ouch!!
Grenade rolls are applied last - the difference here is that the player who rolled any gets to select the loss from a unit of his choice from his opponent's units. A really good way to knock artillery down to 1 fig before the battle begins.
