I decided not to buy more G.I.s since this game is still so buggy after a year. So I got about 40 more plays and then it's goodbye.

I hope we won't lose your for good Sir.
We'd miss your valuable contributions.

I would also be sorry to see you go, JFKoski.
And hope you will change your mind and still play this game (bugs and all).

In the Headquarters screen, an option to display OPEN games in the "Show" drop-down menu.
Would let you find those guys waiting for a game very quickly.

I second the motion.
As a beta-tester and long time (paying) fan of the online game, regular updates at least would be appreciated. For instance, Slytherine sends out a monthly newsletter, even if it is just to say 'here are some upcoming improvements/ expansions we're currently developing.'
As for responses to 'feedback' threads such as this one, would it really be that difficult to say something along the lines of 'thank you for your suggestion. We have added it to our list.'. At the company where Inwork we have a policy of responding to all customer emails within 48 hours and guess what? We have a lot of satisfied customers!

Hey Days of Wonder, here's a suggestion (two actually):
1. Why don't you at least acknowledge the input of your top players, especially if they've been beta-testers, logged a lot of games, etc. I'd heed Nygaard's suggestion - responde vous s'il vous plait!
2. Install a "Luck" button that only I can access that gives me good luck (better die rolls, cards and so forth) during online play.
I'll be happy with either of the above...

I never have had any replies to the bug reports I have sent in as well.
Love the game but to go this long without any kind of news or updates is very discouraging.

I keep hearing that people of high rank don't want to play those of low rank, so they don't lose lots of points. I think an achievement badge could solve this problem:
Top20. You have made into to the top 20 list of ranked players (page 1).
Once people have this achievement, they could show it off, and even if they fall off page 1, maybe they won't be so concerned about their rank, since it would be permanent.

I'm sympathetic with your request, JFKoski, but I honestly doubt that would work. Of course, I never had people turning down invitations to play, so the issue is not a true problem for me. Plus, some (very few) players in the top ranks seem to play in a fishy way, so I guess again that playing with them wouldn't be an advantage to anyone...

Improving the points system would be better than a "Top 20" medal.
Is it fair that one can play a match and rematch, win one match and overall on medals and figures and lose 20 - 30 points?
This can make one consider carefully when selecting an opponent or accepting an invitation

Having been at the top, I played my last 4 matches and lost them all with a loss of at least 90 points, but it doesn't mean anything anyway. So game on.

It may not mean anything to you - you should not project your values onto others.
Some people do work hard on their ranking - without gaming the system - and do value their ranking.
Please do not dismiss them so lightly.

Over time I have built up a list of 57 players that are on my ignore list.
What I would like is a feature that one could set up to "auto-ignore" anyone with an "honor" of less than three. Then one would not be tricked into getting into an open game with a "dishonorable" player.

There's a dropdown for "Show:" with selections like,
Played,
Unplayed,
First Beach Landing,
Freeing France, etc.
I think we could use one for Advanced Historian, for those scenarios, and one for Promotions, to help people know which scenarios they need to play for the badge and which to advance in rank, respectively. The "new" scenarios after rollout, apparently don't count, just like those under Mediterranean Theater that weren't in that expansion
Also, I'd like to see the name of "Foret de Ecouves" changed to "Ecouves Forest". Normally after the French Open, jdrommel has the name translated for an English version, but this one got missed. Now that it's been added Online, the error has been extended.
PS: I bought a Sergeant Pack to play the "new" scenarios this month.

Change the Skill Point system to reward the "Match" winner with a bonus!
And loosen up the points lost by playing an opponent of lesser rank as many of the lower ranks I encounter I can tell are Veteran players who create new accounts to bypass paying or for some other reason.

I like playing the mediterranean tank scenarios but their complete and utter randomness is damaging to a person's ranking. So I'd like to suggest a way to play non-ranking games. Perhaps you could check a small box on the setup screen and then that game would show up highlighted in red instead of green.
Just an idea

It would be useful to see the number of cards in the deck (in the muck). For example, if i used an ambush card, i know that another player wont get it, until new deck starts.
Now the card returns immediately to the deck. I think its wrong.

The cards don't return to the deck, though it's true that we don't see how many cards are in the deck still.
You might be thinking that Ambush kept coming up because someone played Their Finest Hour, which shuffles all of the cards back up and would allow a player to draw Ambush a second time.
