As a fan of BATTLE CRY also, you will hear no moaning from me. I like how the figures are painted.

I think Battle Cry is a very nice game.
I play it too on occasions.
No complaining from this side.

And with Memoir '44's older sister!! Shocked I can't believe it! Confused

Actually, it looks like fun (especially all dressed up like that), so maybe I'll do the same if I have a chance. Razz

jd,

Your American Civil War figures(and the others)look well done! I also paint military figures but not from these games. I usually paint 54mm or larger ones. It is a very popular hobby in Europe. There are a lot of shows in Europe and the U.S. where artists go and exhibit their figures and show awards are presented. There is a big show in London each year that attracts people from all over. Andrea in Spain, and Pegaso in Italy, are two of the more famous companies that make these figures. Check out their websites. When painted they can be spectacular. I'm in the process of moving and mine are all packed away but when I get a chance I'll post a couple of pictures of my work.

I like BC150, but I don't think they've got the Cavalry rules right. They were more Mounted Infantry than shock troops and didn't feature too much in most battles.

I think BC150 is the weakest game in the C&C stable, but i still play it. Wink
