| Turboheizer wrote on Fri, 15 March 2013 19:10 | The following maps are from the Breakthrough expansion (as this is the only expansion not in my possession so far, I can't submit the pages):
Battle of Abbeville (also previously published online in 2009)
Breakthrough at Mortain
The Tatsinskaya Raid
Manado Landings
Sword Beach (BT)
Breakthrough to the Beach
The Surrender of Elster's Column
Noville to Foy
"Resistance at Marvie" is from the Winter Wars expansion (p. 28/29).
"Operation Epsom" is from the Equipment Pack scenario booklet (p. 14/15).
"Raid on Barce" was included in the "Disaster at Dieppe" Battle Map (the sheet is unnumbered).

Great! Thanks for the information.
Does anyone have access to the Breakthrough Kit to look up these page numbers for me? Any help is appreciated.

| rasmussen81 wrote on Fri, 15 March 2013 13:47 | Hi everyone, I need some help.
I'm working on the update for the FAQ (which is going nicely) and I have run into a wall that I can't get over on my own. Because I'm living overseas, I don't have all of my Memoir equipment with me so I can't look this information up. I'm calling on all the scouts and troopers of Memoir '44 for some recon work!!
I need to know what expansion booklet the following scenarios were published in, and on which page:
Battle of Abbeville BT P4/5
Breakthrough at Mortain BT P12/13
The Tatsinkaya Raid BT P26/27
Manado Landings BT P30/31
Sword Beach (Breakthrough)BT P6/7
Raid on Barce Battlemap 4 scenario 3
Breakthrough to the Beach BT P8/9
The Surrender of Elster's Column BT P14/15
Noville to Foy BT P16/17
Resistance at Marvie WW P28/29
Operation Epsom EP P14/15
Thanks for the help!!

Thank you for your great work!!
EDIT: if you waited 7 more minutes
|
Wonderful!!!! Scouting mission finished. Thank you for these page numbers; I can now add them to the FAQ and take one more step closer to being finished with the new Update.
It's looking good; I think everyone will be pleased with how it is turning out.

Your work is most appreciated, Mr. Ras.
Not only by me, but (I bet) by the whole community.

Ras, will this be another Appendix or a complete FAQ overhaul?

This is a complete re-working of the whole FAQ. I think the final result looks good, but it's a huge document, so be ready for that! We're looking at about 76 pages long!! It makes sense when I look back and see that the original FAQ was 50+ pages long, and the Supplement 11 pages...so 61 pages plus adding in all the questions that have come up since then.

Buy a tablet type computer to which you can download the FAQ doc(s).
No need to print, and you can (more easily) search for the answer in the document(s).
A green alternative.

Well, 76 pages is a lot of pages and there's nothing I can do about that, but I'm planning to also have an ink-friendlier version available that could help a little bit. I'll see what I can do.
Like Phread said, this world is becoming more digital and this next FAQ was designed for tablet or computer use more than printing. It might be a good excuse to get a tablet...

Thanks Ras, as a fairly new boardgamer i'm playing through with a novice & we often use the FAQs for clarification. Your work is much appreciated; especially as you're doing this for no monetary reward. People such as yourself make communities like this one a great place to belong!
