especially the "grandgame" saturday evening was great Smile
21 vs 21 players played at the same time a self designed scenario made with what you got (10 tiles 10 units). Every player got two minutes to play a card en resolve it. Then the the other player got 2 minutes.
And because all 21 boards were linked together (yes 21 boards so that means a lot of tables) you could give units to the player next to you for help.

It was a great event.
And next year should become even more impressive.
We'll commemorate the 70th anniversary of the start of the ardennes offensive by playing this tournament in Bastogne.

So start planning a trip to Belgium for next year. It will be worth it. And you can discover the area of Bastogne the days before or after the tournament.

We had 5 nationalities this year. It would be great to have even more next year.

I'll be looking for more pics next yr.
Thank you, 5 Star General

You may wish to rethink Bastogne

I hear it is impossible to get through the Ardennes

Only with Tanks, from what I've read. As long as people can walk in, everything should be fine. Very Happy

Over 80 players attended, but that was the limit as you need lots of room to set up all those players.

I see the French open will be also limited to 100 players next year.
