1 scenario Breakthrough on the same theme of the US landing : Wakde Airfield.

And last but not least, a new concept : an Overlord campaign with three Overlord scenarios linked together, about the landing of the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division on Juno Beach in Normandy. This is the first one of five Overlord campaigns.

You will find the description of the mini-campaign and the Overlord campaign in « my user pages » in the paragraph « my projects/campagnes ».

2014 will be an important year for Memoir'44, so my contribution will be to give you a lot of scenarios all along this year, with from time to time, one mini-campaign or one Overlord campaign.

With some anticipation : Merry Christmas and have fun with Memoir'44 ! Smile

Yours,
Jdrommel.

Thanks, these look fantastic!

I wonder if I could ask you a question about another one of your scenarios. I am currently playing through your Operation Compass campaign and I am about to play 'Capture of Bardia'. The Special Rules say that the town of Bardia is at sea level and is lower than the surrounding land. Does this mean that you must be adjacent to Bardia to see it. For example, a unit on the central concrete bunker hex wouldn't be able to see any part of Bardia?

What do you mean by "2014 will be an important year for memoir 44"? Hopefully that new things are coming. Was hoping for something more besides these scenarios, great as they may look and I'm sure they will actually be!Haven't had anything new for over a year, I believe.

Here's hoping for a French, Polish and Italian army! Just one of those will do for 2014! More breakthrough campaigns would be great too! (Market Garden, Battle of the Bulge, Fall Gelb etc...)

I mean than 2014 will be the 10th anniversary of Memoir'44.
The only thing I am sure is that I will give you some scenarios all along the year.
I don't know nothing about something from DoW and I am hoping like you.

No, the difference of altitude is only on the right and left sides of Bardia. The center is considered as the same altitude (it is like a gently slope). So the bunker is visible from Bardia and Bardia visible from the bunker.

I built Battle of Monterotondo on Vassal and look forward to playing another scenario with Italian Rules with my regular opponents. This one has a Supply Train, so that should be fun.

Thanks

This is a really great present! Thanks so much.

I really want to try the overlord campaign if I can find the time and the room.

I almost feel like I don't need a new Memoir '44 expansion this Xmas...well almost.

I've played the two new Overlord games with the Canadians. Both excellent fun and well balanced. The small number of cards in the hand really makes you plan your attacks and gives the Allies the manouvre options they need to exploit.
