Bug: last move in multiplayer not viewable + game remains active Fri, 10 January 2014 12:43
When playing a multiplayer (online with friends), I cannot see the last move played by my opponent when returning to the game after his/her last turn. All I get to see is the scores.

On top of that, the game remains as 'active' with an exclamation mark by my name, but if i go to that game, again, it jumps to the gold-counting straight away (and the game remains seen as 'active' since I cannot indicate the game is actually over).

then lastly (sorry, can't help myself), but this is probably a feature request: it would be great to go back to see the end result of the game after it's finished (as very well implemented on the Ticket to Ride ipad/iphone editions)

anybody recognize this?

is there nobody who recognizes this? If not, I may be doing something wrong. Would love to hear what I should be doing...

If I were experiencing this I would first reset my iPad (you are talking about the iPad version, right?) by holding the Home and the on/off buttons for some seconds until the Apple logo appears. If it did not help, I would delete the game and then reinstall it.

Hi AngryMarine, tried the reset but same thing. To be transparent: it really looks like a "by design" anomaly and not some setting gone bad. My theory is it's reproducable. Are you saying that after the two-player opponent plays his last move (and you've already played yours), that you can go back to the board?

Hi, applephod! I did not say that, there is no way to do it in this version of the game. I have reread your post and realized that I got you wrong at first. I thought you can't see the opponents' moves, only the coins counting after their turn. And you were talking about the way the game ends.

gotcha! thanks again.

do you have much experience with Days of Wonder software & upgrades. I see quite a long wishlist on the forums with some stuff that I'd certainly love, and I'm trying to assess whether I should have high or low hopes...

Days of Wonder are reading all the wishlists, I can say that for sure. So far they have confirmed that they will introduce bots to replace the leaving players and will add the chat on the final screen. There are still some bugs in the game and they have a lot of work to fix them. After they are through with essential things, we can expect some new features.
