This looks pretty sweet! I'm sad that with the larger map board they didn't take the opportunity to put Duluth in the right place. It looks like they took the state borders out so some of the other ones aren't obviously wrong, but Duluth is at the West end of Lake Superior and on the board it's almost in Iowa!

Could they have fixed that without changing the number of trains it would require? I suspect they left it as is because otherwise this would have not matched the original game, but that's just a theory. Cool

I couldn't find information on if this is a limited one time edition. Is it?

More to the point, I can't afford it right now but I can later this year or at Christmas. Will it still be available/reprinted or is this a one shot, get it now or cry kind of thing?

Thanks!

Any word on whether there may be a 10th Anniversary edition of the Ticket to Ride Europe? I think that came out in 2005.

What size cards are included in the 10th Anniversary Edition?

Some of the pictures make it looks like they are the smaller ones, rather than the full size cards that come with every set aside from USA.

The large cards are in this version. Cool

I see the rules are posted now too... So are we talking a new set of rules- a combo of original rules (for number of cards at start and to draw on a turn) but using 1910 megagame style all 69 routes? And just longest route bonus?

I wonder if those are the final rules. The pictures of the components include two bonus cards (globetrotter and longest route), but the text says nothing about the globetrotter.

Out of print in Euro shop? Already? There will be availability for the future?

We should get more of them (probably sometimes in June).
It's just the quantity that we had planned for our webstore initial launch that ran out...

Will Days of Wonder print a proper manual for the 10th Anniversary set? The version that came with my copy is missing half of the instructions. You randomly decided to include cards from Mystery Train (an obscure expansion I'd never heard of, and not listed in your catalogue) and 1910, without instructions on their use.

I'm used to needing FAQ's or errata, but entire chapters missing? That's more than a little sloppy on a $100.00 game.

I just got my game delivered, but UPS over-charged me $65 for "broker fees"... what's up with that? Added to the shipping cost I payed at checkout, my game cost me almost twice its price... Confused

I'm in Canada, btw

Just received my game today and I am also disappointed with the rules. I have never played 1910 or Mystery Train so I was confused when I opened the Anniversary box to find the new cards but no rules for their use. Yeah, I can download them but that should not be necessary to play my beautiful brand new 10th Anniversary Box Set. Be nice if Days of Wonder would send those of us who purchased the new game a proper rule book.

Customs is charging for everything right now. I had a $17 customs fee on a $50 t-shirt order earlier this week.

FWIW, Mystery Train was a limited-edition expansion, and the only piece of it that has been widely available since initial publication is the extra tickets that are in 1910. You can just use those tickets and not really miss out on anything. I do agree that they misjudged when they didn't include all the 1910 rules with the 1910 tickets. As an aside, this makes their second odd decision about what to include in the rules; the Africa board has ferries and no description of how they work in the rules.
