Blow Me Down - Battle Cards

I do not think this has been asked yet...
Regarding Blow Me Down battle cards:
a)I assume that the +6 bonus is referring to the cumulative upgrade that 6 coins would get you...not straight out 6 levels.
b.1)Does the +6 position last only during that battle, then return back to what you started with, or does it maintain a residual position after battle is over?
b.2)If answered yes to "return back to what you started with", if you started at level 7 on sails before +6 bonus, took damage down to level 5, would it still return to position 7 after battle?

A) Six points of sail, not six levels, not six gold's worth. If your sail is at ten and you play Blow me Down, your sail would have a value of sixteen and your marker would not move from the ten position.
B) It's a battle card, so it goes away at the end of the battle. Assuming your sails were not damaged in the fight, they would be at the position they were before you played the card.
C) No. The +6 modifier is just that: a modifier. It doesn't matter where your marker is, you just get +6 to that value. So, if your sails were at ten, your sail value would be sixteen. If you took two points of damage, your marker would drop to eight and your new sail value would be 8+6=14. After the battle, your marker is what tells you your sail value, so it would be eight.
