All I have read so far is that it should hit Europe anytime now, and North America sometime in April/May although some gaming dealers may already have pre-release demo copies?

Anyone else have a better update for anywhere in the world? Canada? USA? Japan?

Sorry to not respond sooner. The Marklin Edition in the US goes on sale, Monday April 10th.

We have just started taking pre-orders from the Days of Wonder online webstore in the US. You can reach it at the following link:

As a person who has demoing it to various people, everyone agrees, that this version of Ticket to Ride is a HIT (i.e. the 3rd one got it right).

Even new people to the game like it - and always ask me when it is available. Now I can give them a date (roughly - since some game stores might get them a few days later).

Kudos to DoW!!

I thought the first two "got it right". Already ordered the third, and my wife is addicted to the PC game.

Well this one has more tickets - both long and short.

Thus if you are a short ticket person, it mets your needs.

If you like long to medium tickets, it also mets those needs as well.

The passengers are nice and gives you that "chicken" aspect..i.e. who will be the first to move their passengers (usually when that lovely Berlin opens - but usually not). As you might be aware..2 red cities are just as much as Berlin [initially].

Sadly I played a game where I had a nice run...through 8 cities worth a whopping 2, since everyone else went through those cities. Obviously I had to big other paths to get it worth more than 2.

Trust me, I don't think you can go wrong with this one. I love it to death. Play it over US any day. Of course, sadly it shows the lack of German geography knowledge us US people have when someone goes for tickets and has to constantly look for a city..but I digress.

Took me a while but also I figured out the circles in the upper left of the ticket cards. The country circles are obvious. The non country ones are not so...I'll leave you with that exercise. Smile [Aren't I a tease <G>]

Plus the fact that scores of 100 are gone. 170 or more usually wins the game. I say usually since I played one where I had 180..sadly the winner had 201. and that was in a 5 player game.
