New Scenario - [Operation Tempest] Warsaw Sun, 26 March 2006 09:47
I have posted a new scenario at the front called [Operation Bagration] Warsaw (Praga).
This Scenario depicts a battle fought on September 12th 1944 when a reconnaissance troop of the 2nd Polish Tank Regiment runs into trouble in the form of German Elite Waffen SS units, while in search for a route to the Slaski Bridge for the rest of the Soviet forces that would follow them.

I hope you enjoy it!

All feed back is most welcome.

I have changed the name of this scenario to [Operation Tempest] Warsaw, Praga. As I feel it is more appropriet as the 1st Polish Army forces were attempting to support Polish Home Army during the Warsaw uprising.

Glad you like the look of it Waldo. I think this will be a tough one for the Russians. The Russian have the numbers, but the German artillery is it perfect firing positions. The key for Russian victory will be in finding a way to deal with 1 of those 2 artillery units.

I look forward to hearing how it goes for you! Very Happy

Wow! That was awsome. I think that was one of my favourite scenarios yet. It kept going back and forth. By the end of ther game each country had an oppertunity. If you want to read my battle report i'm about to post it.

Thanks for the scenario Smile

Hi Waldo, Im really glad you enjoyed [Operation Tempest] Warsaw. Thank you for your very kind words & rating of my scenario. I enjoyed reading your battle report, & am very pleased with its historical outcome.

I noticed in another post you had [Stalingrad] Red Barricades Factory Complex down as your favourite scenario. I have also posted another Stalingrad scenario called [Stalingrad] Tractor Works, Operation HERON. I thought perhaps that might interest you?
I play it twice on the weekend with my mate, both battle were close with the Russian prevailing in the end. I have also posted the battle reports if you are interested.

Thanks again mate.
