This is just kind of a question I'd throw out there.. for those of you that play this game a bunch. Who among you out there, play with hintings of a traitor every game that you play, so that when you ARE the traitor... people will just think you're being you? Smile

Now I've never been the traitor myself... but we do have one or two players in our group who pretty much always act suspicious, contribute little and only serve themselves.. and at the end of the game still show their card as Loyal.. while the rest of us look at them slack-jawed.. wondering how they could even consider themselves loyal.. Wink Just curious who else out there uses this tactic?

One of my friends plays that way, but we generally agree that it's because he's stupid.

Suggesting that someone else is the Traiotr (with no real intention to accuse him/her) is a poor tactic when you're Loyal and not much better when you're the Traitor. Rolling Eyes
Just my personal opinion...

Luke, I think you're missing his point. He's saying his friends, even when they're dealt a loyal card, play just a bit traitorous so that in the next game (when they are indeed the traitor) it will be more difficult to tell.

Which is pretty bizarre if you ask me. Not that it's my business, but just how much does your group imbibe prior to starting?

Oh, and we checked with our friend again, who is positive he plays well when dealt a loyal card. This indeed confirms our worst fears -- he's likely stupid.

Sag.
