Fordable rivers Wed, 13 December 2006 23:33
Does a unit forced to retreat into a fordable river loose a figure or is it classed as a normal terrain tile

No need to lose figures in this case. Retreat moves ignore terrain restrictions except for impasable terrain.

Were the river impassable then you wouldn't be allowed to enter the hex and would lose figures accordingly.

Agreed. Worthy of note here though is that "impassable" is apparently NOT considered to be a "movement restriciton"... Rolling Eyes
