Looks like there is a screw up with the replacement dice. I ordered my replacement dice first day they were available as did a friend of mine. Neither of us have recieved e-mail notifications of shipment nor have we received our dice. Meanwhile another friend ordered his dice last week. He got an e-mail notification of shipping the next day and has now had his dice for several days.

Checking BGG I am seeing that others are in the same boat. People who ordered their replacement dice the first day haven't recieved them while others who ordered them more recently have already recieved their replacements.

Yes, same here. I ordered I think the day after it went live. And no email or dice. I have an order number but not sure what to do now. They said not to email them about it.

So I guess I just wait until when? It would be nice to see some official info. If they lost the first day or so of orders just tell us so we can contact them. You can't order more then one set so feel kind of stuck here.

And I did see its happened to a ton of people on BoardGameGeek.

Eek. Yeah, I'm in the exact same situation: first day available I ordered, no e-mail (or order #, since I was expectingt he e-mail, particularly after I got one for the Earth Elemenal previously) received, and no dice yet. Mind you I'm in no real hurry to get my replacements, but the behavior we're beginning to see where other folks who placed recent orders are getting theirs quickly is quite suspicious.

I don't recall if I placed my ordr on the first day. I thought maybe it was the 2nd day or so. I would think the easiest way to check if your information is correct without emailing DOW is to reneter your info. If it doesn't take it, I am sure they have your info and it wasn't lost. If it does take your info, then apparently there was a first day glitch.

Keep this in mind thougg: When DOW sent out the game for those who pre-ordered BL from their site, it was NOT by when you placed your order. I think it was based on the region of the country you were in.

So they may have waited a few days to collect the info and then sent out dice to the SW first, then NW, etc. I would give it a few more days before you start to worry.

I certainly hope so, and that is a good analysis, CF76. Like I mentioned, I'm not worried yet or even in a hurry to get them, but I am glad that someone brought it up Smile

I am still waiting as well for 2 copies of the dice.

DOW, from what I see, will get things right or I believe will make them right in the end.

I ordered the dice around Friday one week ago. The following Monday I received the shipping confirmation, so the dice should arrive soon.

I think new dice would be great, but considering how many of us clear-coated our existing dice to last until 2081 (looking forward to the 75th anniversary edition of the game!), we should be all right for a few more rolls.

I know three of us here in the same area who have ordered replacement dice. The two of us who ordered first day haven't gotten our dice or e-mails. Meanwhile the person who ordered their's last week already got their dice earlier this week. So it's when we ordered our dice, not region that is the problem here.

Ordered first day no dice yet. I am patiently waiting. I figured sending out to Australia would take longer. However, I haven't recieved an email, or order number from DOW.

I do too! Got most of them on DVD now and tend to watch episodes when I'm working at home. Currently finished rewatching Season 6. That's a sad season since Frank left at the end!

So those who are waiting for some kind of response shouldn't fret. Thus far, the customer support has been outstanding, and there are plenty of workable dice solutions available while we wait for replacements.

There's one problem with what you are saying. Those who have recieved their replacement dice did indeed get e-mails letting them know that their dice were on the way. So you are wrong when you say that no e-mails are being sent out confirming replacement dice have been shipped.

There obviously has been a problem. Problems happen and with this likely it's computer related and DoW had no idea something was amiss. Now I understand that some folks don't like it when anything less than perfect is said about DoW. However pretending that everything is perfect when obviously there is something wrong does nothing towards solving it or letting DoW know that there is a problem.

Probably unrelated, but the day before the dice were made available I ordered the Earth Elemental, the next day I got an email that the EE had shipped. That was a bit over a week ago and no sign of the EE. I'm going to give it another week before I email them about it.

No, he's not wrong. I got the exact same message that he did upon ordering. The message said that there would be no email confirmation, and no tracking number. Obviously some people got the message and some didn't. Dunno why this would be the case, but what he wrote is not incorrect.

Except for those people who did get an email confirmation for their dice, and happen to be the majority of the people who have reported recieving their dice...

Before everyone gets crazy about this...

It was explained in the confirmation message of the order, but I guess not everybody read it.

- The shipment of replacement dice will happen on average once a week.
- Some regions (Europe) got started earlier that others (the US).
- Because of practical issues with the US platform, the first US shipment should happend on the coming Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, if everything works fine. There were more delays in the US because of the larger quantity of orders to process and other logistics issues to resolve. You will receive a confirmation e-mail at that time.

Please be patient, organising massive shipements is very different from sending individual orders on a one by one basis.

As I figured the problem was on USPS's end, not DoW. The EE actually arrived on Thursday but USPS didn't leave a card in our box to inform us it had been left in the complex office.

I think you need to actually read my message. When you do you will see it was not about DoW and it's responce to the problem. My comment was directed at the person saying everything was ok when obviously that is not the case. There unfortunately at times are folks on here who knee jerk react whenever anyone writes something the construe as being in any way critical of DoW.

Because they had included the Earth Elemental in the same order. In that very specific case, it is treated differently, because of the special packaging required by the figure, the billing, etc.

That explains it. I was wondering if those that ordered the dice only were the ones not getting their dice while those that ordered the earth elemental had gotten theirs. Thanks Yann for clearing that up. Cool

Yes. In the US region, if you ordered the Earth Elemental ALONG with your replacement dice, then that order got processed right away. If you already had the Earth Elemental (or did not want any), then your replacement dice will ship as part of the weekly batch.

This (and nothing else) explains why some people who were ordering the 2nd day have already received a confirmation (they ordered the Earth Elemental on the same order) while others who entered their info for the replacement dice on the first day did not get any confirmation yet.

also, fyi, if you already have ordered an Earth elemental prior to the replacement dice, please note that that choice (ie ordering a 2nd earth elemental) does NOT appear in your replacement dice page. This is normal.
