Come on! This discussion has ELEVEN messages from you and they always got an answer. Less than 2 days elasped from your last "request of infomation"... they've a lot of things to do other than replying in the forum (and they always do it, sooner or later...). I can understand your desire to get the game, but it's not going to arrive faster (or later) based on your questions about it.
I do not want to be harsh (written words sounds alwyas "heavier" than spoken ones), but only to say that you'll NOT be ignored (patience is a virtue).
Ciao! Smile

Kikki,

We've been travelling the past two weeks, so we haven't gotten to all the posts as quickly as we'd like. And don't worry... we have no problems with people being enthusiastic about getting our games.

We're still working on the Italian version. Unfortunately, it's been delayed by production issues with our new games. Our hope now is that we'll have it available in June. Sorry for the delay. we're doing our best to get it to you a quickly as we can.

I look forward to see the Italian version.
I have teached this really good game to many friends of mine, but since the cards are in English and not that many people here can read easily long EN text, nobody else dared to buy a second copy (I have one, of course!).

So, when it will be in Italian, you will see more purchases from our sunny country!

btw are you planning to also produce your other games in Italian?

That will depend on how many of your friends you convince to buy "Il Mistero dell'Abbazia"! Smile

Actually, if this edition does well, we would expect to do more of our line in Italian.

Maybe my 5 friends won't be enough, then! Very Happy

You should consider to sell it together with a "The name of the rose" book, or Brother Cadfael's books Smile

For the sake of satisfy my curiosity, have you ever considered this kind of operations? Do you believe something like this could work?

Ah, are you publishing on your own or with an Italian company? I noticed that the Italian translation has been made by KDSDistribuzione, I bought some games from their online store a few weeks ago, but there are no news on their website about an Italian version of Mistery, are you publishing with another company perhaps?

Tanis,
As far as I know the Italian edition will be released through KDS.
About other Italian releases of Days of Wonder boardgames, the next one could be Ticket to ride (if we will succeed in spreading the faith Very Happy ).
Bye,

A first example of the Italian version was presented during the "Fiera del Libro - Torino" (Book Fair of Turin) last weekend, so the time is near... Smile
