Here is the Sherman. If anyone is running any kind of big mem44 tournament for the Cons, etc. I would be happy to provide a free set or two for prizes if anyone is interested.

You might try adding a white outline to the German cross to make it stand out more.

that is easier said than done when working with vinyl. The smaller it is the harder it is to work with. I too used to work for a sign company and was able to make all sorts of cool stuff. Too bad I wasn't a gamer back then I can't tell you how many times I wished I were still working there so I could mount and laminate boards and cards and such!!!

I wanted to laminate a hand made 3' x 3' board but I thought the $36 price was too high.

ya, I used to laminate these giant posters that I made for around $1 or $2 a square foot Sometimes less! Believe me, that is about the only thing I miss about working there.

I could do the German decals in white but the black actually shows up much better in real life.
Would anyone be interested in buying sets of these if they were ever offered up for sale? I would like to gauge interest.

Would you be making one for the Japanese tanks also?

Sure, little red circles? Not sure if that would be historically accurate on the tanks but we used to make them for the Japanese planes in Axis & Allies. Once the planes are released for Mem44 I already plan to make decals for the wings.

They all look real cool, but the Sherman wins as the best decal of the lot. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on these. And hey, there's always E-Bay. I bet you'd sell a bunch on there.
I'm going to the Origins Game Expo in July....if I see anyone with something similar, I'll try and remember this topic and let you know what they're selling for

The only problem in selling something like this on eBay is that I would have to put "memoir '44" in the title and I don't have DOWs permission to do that. They would have to be marketed as a generic world war 2 decal set...

With all the miniatures out there, both gaming and diarama, I still think even selling them "generic" on E-Bay would turn a sweet profit. Market them under "WWII Miniatures" and the customers will come, I bet.
.....and if you do, and make a nice hefty profit, remember your old buddy Whiterook with a free set

Good to have you here on the forums, Whiterook I'd want a set of those to, especially if the German tanks got additional white linings around the black cross (just like the real ones)! So Mr Whiterook, please go ahead giving good advice to StrafingRun

I'm interested in purchasing some decals for my sets also. Lately I've been planning on painting my figures, tanks, sandbags, etc... and have some questions. Would your decal stick on painted mini M44 tanks? And is it better to stick on decal before putting on a protective coating? Thanks.

The decals will stick to paint with no problem - I would add the final coat AFTER adding them.
Anyone looking for decals can email me at strafingrungames@yahoo.com
Thanks!

Hi gang, decals look great, sill would be nice to add numbers on the turrets. I know i'd start to look crowded, so what about reducing the national symbol a bit to accommodate numbers? Feasible?
ps: Ultra cool to see cyrillic eriting on Sov. tanks.

These are the Perrin decals...a little hard to find now it seems...but to be honest, as you can see with the KV's large turret, it would be very hard to put some of these on the T-34's

Unless you slice up the decal in half lenghtwise, and trim off the edges. Still, I see your point. There's only so much detail you can put in at this scale.
