Foot Onslaught card Tue, 19 June 2007 20:28
Could someone explain one sentence this card in more details?
'All ordered units must be adjacent, in a single group.'
Is it possible that all the units are adjacent?

The units ordered by Foot Onslaught must be in an unbroken group. However, each unit does not need to touch every other unit. Instead, each unit must be adjacent to at least one other ordered unit.

as a quick and simple example, say you have the following all in one adjacent line:

RBGBBRG

R:red
B:blue
G:take a guess
and let's assume that you have 5 command cards

In this scenario, you have only 3 different possibilities. You can't, in any way, order both the Red units. You can only order 5 in a row. So you can order the 5 on the left, the 5 on the right, or the 5 in the middle.

By the way, that's a sweet card. Whenever I draw that, I smile...

Yes, it is a way to actually get those slow moving red dwarves of mine - who are always deployed on the baseline for some reason - into battle.

Think of them as the French Old Guard, you don't commit them unless absolutly necessary.

Quick question that I have not seen before.

If one of the ordered units in a common bow unit and they do not move may they range attack with 2d?

No. Ranged units may not particpate in the battle whatsoever.
