AT vs BIP dea vs genuinefauxfarm 2 : 4 121:112 86:117** 108:124* 110:107* 106:124* 102:118* I have to admit to the embarrassment of riches in the form of ALOT of locos for at least two of the games. And enough locos for most of the them. It is always easier to only worry about selecting the best route without worrying too much about the colors. Poetic justice in game 7 in the form of GFF getting Dal-NY after dea was stuck with it a couple of times. But, Dal-NY doesn't sting so much if you have 8 locos. Next time dea, we split the locos and throw Dal-NY from the deck. Best to you and team AT, Rob GFF [Report message to a moderator]

thx and grats, GFF, well done It seems, one of my mistakes was showing you the route for your Dal-NY in game 7 in my game 3 But obviously Dal-NY fits better to Win-LR than to Win-Hou, so you got longest while I didn't Grats BIP to winning the clash [Report message to a moderator]

Round#5 Result	Wed, 24 October 2012 13:00

BIP vs AT BIP mef23 vs AT_Angel6 2:4 Well played by mef, but a bit too much luck for me 1st game: perfect game with 42 ticket points, 6 locos and without start - got closer than I wanted it - 129:121 - still no loss with 42 in more than 10.000 games 2nd game: Van-Mon + Van-SF with start vs not so good ticks. Only 2 locos but good colors - 120:102 3rd game: Cal-Pho + Chi-NO (LA-Mia dropped, maybe wrong decision, but I started with 0 locos/black/green/red) vs LA-Chi + Den-Pitts (or similar). Too many problems with colors/locos, but could have played 5 white (Den-Pho) earlier to have a chance at least. Very good SF-LA with 2 locos by mef, destroying any hope. In the end I miscounted my 9 cards and took instead of playing costing me 28 points, but it didn't matter - 77:120 4th game: forgotten, but a win is a win is a win 5th game: Cal-SLC + Den-ElP vs Van-Mon - 10 (Dul-ElP). maf took open and I was sure about a big north. I got 6 white, 4 blue, 6 orange, 4 green, AND had one chance to play 5 reds, too. Didn't do it, didn't win it, hate myself - 92:109 6th game: Win-Hou + Win-Little (SSM-Nash dropped, close decision) with start vs Port-Nash + Tor-Mia + Chi-NO. mef started with 6 orange, 6 pink, 6 yellow, shocking me a bit (3 ticks! ), but had to slow down (Sea-Port, Nash-Atl, ...), and I got the time+colors for a perfect 45 route (SSM-Win-Cal-Hel-5 red-Den-Okl-ElP-Hou and 3 more green to end the game with sure longest and a guarantied win [Report message to a moderator]

Round 6 RESULTS BIP THE TINMAN 3.5 VS ITA_SUPERPELLO 2.5 Very exciting match and super play by superpello who made me down a dozen rolaids in pulling this out. GM 1 Tinman 119 - SuperPello 110 Thought Pello would win with hou/no 2er at the end, but luckily he needed to connect to Winn. GM 2 Tinman 114 - SuperPello 114 I could have won this if I paid attention and blocked houston, but my focus on longest cost me a tie. GM 3 SuperPello 131 - Tinman 99 Disaster game for me. Bad colors, no locos and a great route and locos for Pello. This one was over before it began. GM 4 SuperPello 68 - Tinman 49 Another game I could have won if I just blocked Hel/Den. Thought I was blocking 42 but it turned out Pello had Van/sf with Sea/NY. By not blocking 4 green it allowed him to connect Van/SF GM 5 Tinman 132 - SuperPello 106 First game that flowed easy for me. LA/MIA & Hel/LA. was able to play 4 6's and get longest. Pello had Chgo/SF & Den/Pitt for a difficult route. GM 6 Tinman 102 - SuperPello 92 Back against the wall and Rolaids in hand, the TTR Gods showed me favor with LA/Chgo & Por/Nash to Pellos 2 little east tix. But I almost blew this one as well by falling asleep on connecting to Nash and allowing Pello to block every entrance. Fortunately by him playing little blocks I was able to earn many more track points and longest for the win. Great match and I will be looking for Marco in the top 100 someday if he continues to play the way he did today. [Report message to a moderator]
