That list is of course going to be completely out of date with all the new scenarios Days of Wonder is going to update the game with!

Maybe we will see the first advanced historians on Monday ... that is, if playing the 16 original scenarios on their historical date is the required condition. As I missed Saverne Gap in 2010, I would have to wait until November in that case.

If you are correct then I am on track. Since I started playing this september that would only mean Arnhem today. 
But I got my Historian Badge with Warsaw on the 8th of september, so maybe for advanced historian the "not original" scenarios maybe do count.

After playing at Arracourt today I was awarded the Advanced Historian Expert Medal!
It was awarded for playing the 16 scenarios on their anniversary date.

Looking at your Officer Career webpage you played these on October 19th Paris time.
Use the world clock to compare your local time with Paris time.

Well if you go win it 3 times in a row as Axis, then I don't need to win it 3x to prove my strategy.
Anyway, I am glad you changed your mind a little bit.
It will never be one of the best scenarios, and I don't really like it either, but I think it is playable.
Your avoiding it by all cost seemed just a bit exagerated.
I'm glad you reconsidered (it's just wrong that there is one aspect of this great game you dared to criticise).
The lesson to be learned from this:
Don't give up on something because it is hard, seems unfair, ... embrace the challenge.

You need to play them at least once (one side at least) at the exact date (a few maps / battles occur on a several days range : anyday is OK).
After reading what Gheintze and Phread wrote about this achievment, it seems (only) 15 (out of 16) "basic" maps are needed !

That depends on the scenario !
You'll find in one of Phread's latest posts in this thread that some maps in November can be anniversaired only on one day (Paris GMT+1 time) whereas other maps can be anniversaired during a period of time
Incidentally this duration is that of the real battle that happened during WWII

Although that is stated as the requirement, I have not played all 16 base scenarios on their historical date. I believe that it is a percentage of the available scenarios, but it may be 15 out of the 16 base scenarios.
