Hi,
I just finished getting wins for both sides of the scenarios since becoming Lt. Colonel (except for the bogus "new" scenarios):
16 Western (not Spring),
6 Eastern (not Battle of Warsaw or Rzhev),
7 Pacific,
8 Mediterranean, (not Gallabat..., Toulon, Montélimar, Tunisia, Knightsbridge)
=37x2 sides is 74 wins. Not counting my "repeat" wins.
Lately I've beaten up 10 cadets and lost to a few (I wasn't counting cadets who beat me).
I'm not near 250 games since becoming Lt. Col either, but I have played about 20 or so SFTF.
If #4 is true, then I'm in trouble, because I just don't care for the Pacific Front scenarios (very unbalanced). I played them because I thought I had to (to make Lt. Col. and for Col.), but I'd just as soon not.
Anyway, some people said we should play for fun. Trying to win all the scenarios was something to do, but not that fun. Neither is playing cadets who haven't played the boardgame. They're just getting the hang of straight (Western) scenarios. The other fronts may be too much for them, as one of them said when we finished. Now I read I might not have needed to play them all! I could have skipped the ones I hate!

Still I believe that the promotion criteria is as simple as the following two conditions:
1. Win every official scenario both sides (in the exception of the few new scenarios added recently).
2. Play N (where N is probably 50, not sure with it) games against cadets.
I have doubts about any additional conditions like 'played 250 games', win at least M games each side on each front, etc. Those really seem to be excessive.
The reason I was promoted after a loss is that I met the 1st requirement at that point (basically I met that requirement back in June already but abandoned the idea to work on the promotion  ) and I just needed to meet the the second requirement of playing some certain quantity of games against cadets. I made up completely the figure 50 since I could not retrieve accurate data based on the resources available (remember that some players got promotoed and now they show up with their current ranks in the history of games).

I agree with that. I also had approximately 250 total games played since the last promotion as well. So I think there may be some logic in that as a qualification as well.

Hi All,
I just wanted to confirm that there is some kind of minimum number of battles at LTC. I have won all scenarios 45 on both sides and played over 50 cadets out of which 30+ were "unique". Still not promoted with 125 wins of 174 battles as a LTC. Not that I'm really surprised I anxious to see whats the exact number if such a number exists...

As far as I know wins on both sides at Rhzev, Warsaw, Operation Spring, and Knightsbridge are not required for promotion to Colonel.
But as a dedicated player wouldn't you want wins at these scenarios anyway? I know I do and did.
Operation Spring is my luckiest scenario, played 3 times from both sides and haven't lost. (Tempting fate now.)

almost 1:1 win ratio!
I needed 7 matches to win my first one!
(btw, your ratio is 1:4, last time I checked. not bad!)
