Won't install on iPad2	Fri, 25 November 2011 04:46

I select buy then put in my iTunes password, it acted like it downloaded then when it was installing, the icon just disappeared. When I went back to the app store and again tapped buy, the same thing. I have plenty of internal space so it's not a space issue... [Report message to a moderator]

Never mind. I'm a new user to the rule and limitations of Apple devices... You see on Android, I'm not limited by my device and can install and download what ever I want. Discovered that here in the wold of Apple, the device limits what it feels I should be able to do.... And in this case it's not to download this game... Sorry for the post. With iCloud, you can now install an app on up to 10 devices (it used to be unlimited). It's nothing to do with the software, I'm trying to buy it and install it over 3G which isn't allowed by Apple (because it's over 20megs).... So I have decided to wait until I'm on wifi... Because I have no choice with Apple. (android doesn't have this limitation) [Report message to a moderator]

Android technically has multiple market places. The Google Market does not have a size limit at present. The Amazon Market does in fact have a size limit over a cellular data connection.

Apple and Amazon both have tried to help the user avoid large accidental data chargers by limiting the size of the app you can download.

It will be interesting to see how many more App Markets appear on Android over the years.
