I played Ticket to Ride, the board game, for the first time last night and loved it (yes, I'm the last person to discover this great game!). I came home and immediately bought the online game...

Unfortunately, when the trains are placed on the board, I cannot distinguish the yellow from green nor the blue from purple. My first game ended badly because I thought I had some uncompleted lines finished.

Are the avatars/colors the same for all expansions, or do any of them give you more choices? Right now, I am limited to playing a 3-player game or playing red and sacrificing being able to tell the opponents' trains apart.

I believe all of the expansions have the same options when it comes to the color of players. So I'm afraid you might be stuck not knowing who claimed the routes during 4-5 player games.

Sorry I don't have better news for you! Confused Enjoy your games and good luck!! Cool

I appreciate the reply. Could I bother you (or someone else reading this) with one more question.

I noticed the 1910 version says it has high-resolution graphics. Are these graphics better than the original version (or does the original version have these same high-resolution graphics)?

Good question. I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that one because I don't have the 1910 expansion for the computer. I know that the iPad version (great game, by the way if you have an iPad) has great graphics but I'm not sure about the 1910 computer game. Smile

Can someone else shed any light on this?

I believe it is the same resolution for both original Ticket to Ride and 1910 expansion.

I am also colorblind and I find that vooming into the board helps because each color does have a symbol in the center of the card on the board or in the corner on the train.
