Brigadier Helcat, Sir, you are just to quick for us.
Please note my preferred Ginger Beer is a 333ml bottle and yours is a 275ml bottle, but I'll drink whatever is in stock.
Another option which is a more acquired taste is Sarsaparilla

Until the next Brigadier arrives let me organise and supervise the staff and for my fellow Brigadier, Général de brigade and Brigadier Generals the drinks are on me (more junior ranks cash in advance please).

And we put it in the fridge even before that, while Colonel Brigadier Phread was still on the battlefield. Slowly but surely we getting stocked up on stuff before there is demand.
Congratulations to Phread (So your unlucky streak was not so unlucky. ).
Barwise, because the Brigadier Bar is open to all officers it's become a merry place filled with all kinds. And since we have now also brought in some high quality stuff that would be wasted on some of the chaps, there is a special cupboard for "the good stuff" where you Generals can safely keep those special personal bottles only shared with each other and some deserving officers who exulted at one task or another. Of course we have some cheaper stuff behind the bar for anyone who likes to order. But if you feel like sharing some of your good bottles just inform the people tending bar, they will take care of it.
I am of to interview a certain cook.

Sadly my unlucky streak was genuinely unlucky and most have delayed my promotion for days (if not a week).
Colonel gheintze confirmed, after a SFTF battle at Surprize, that I really did suffer from unusually poor dice and cards. Even the AI cadets have been kicking my butt on the battlefield.
The best advice I received on the journey was to keep playing, even if one didn't know what one had to do to meet the requirements for promotion.
To all those whom I played (and occasionally defeated) in SFTF battles on this journey thank you for your time, patience, tolerance and camaraderie.
I had not been a regular player of SFTF scenarios before January 14 and have enjoyed (despite dice and cards) having to play them.
I shall continue to be found more regularly on the SFTF battlefields. Thank you to all who have taken the time and effort to create and post these scenarios.
Finally, as promised sometime earlier, I did post above my SFTF results as Colonel and my analysis of those results and my thoughts about what I did to qualify for ptomotion.
I can not explain Général de brigade Nygaard's promotion in terms of those criteria - perhaps he was a deserving battlefield promotion.

Congratualations Phread.
Why do you think you have to discount 5 of your battles?
Is it because you think:
- victories on your own map don't count?
- games started from the "my scenarios" tab don't count
- some other reason that could help other players?
Thanks for your help.

5 of my SFTF may not count towards my promotion because one (my first) was achieved before I was a Colonel (during the beta period and earnt me the D-Day Recon Gold award).
Four were during testing of the Maleme Airfield scenario before it was posted into the SFTF scenario list. I do not know if wins in non-posted scenarios count towards promotion.
As far as I know (which isn't much) victories in scenarios a player has created do count for promotion - I have four "valid" victories in Maleme Airfield which I posted.

For the statistically minded of you - some more analysis of my career to date.
Days between each promotion
Cadet to Second Lieutenant 2
Second Lieutenant to Lieutenant 1
Lieutenant to Captain 11
Captain to Major 43
Major to Lieutenant Colonel 105
Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel 49
Colonel to Brigadier 223
After Captain I had to wait for each new rank to be enabled before achieving it.

Most players should have shorter intervals between their promotions.
Those of us who have been playing since the beta went public (and earlier) will have long intervals between promotions.
Of my 223 days between Colonel to Brigadier 204 were waiting for the Brigadier rank to be enabled and announced
And now we don't know how long it will be before Major General will be available.
Like everyone else we will just have to keep playing and having fun.
I like goals so I have set my first goals - for me as a Brigadier - to play and win every current standard scenario for both sides (again) and to keep playing SFTF scenarios.
See you on the field of battle.

Phread, I think the requirements for Major General have been announced already, elsewhere:
I am the very model of a modern Major-General
I've information vegetable, animal, and mineral
I know the kings of England, and I quote the fights historical
From Marathon to Waterloo, in order categorical
I'm very well acquainted, too, with matters mathematical
I understand equations, both the simple and quadratical
About binomial theorem I'm teeming with a lot o' news
With many cheerful facts about the square of the hypotenuse
Or maybe you're supposed to be apprenticed to a pilot.
(Sorry. That one was too hard to resist.)

Break out the Yuengling lager -- this round is on me fellows!
Before Phread asks... I have 90 wins in expert scenarios, 76 of which are unique.
I was promoted following a game against Sous-lieutenant Brizzio (a fine Argentinean player) at Sugar Loaf and Half-Moon.
Thanks to all of my opponents, who have made this quest quite enjoyable with their enthusiasm and sportsmanship. And also thanks to all the designers of the SFTF -- many excellent scenarios are up there and it was a joy to see the creativity and breadth of the contributions.
Last, I would encourage all who follow to enjoy the journey. Play many and a variety of scenarios from the SFTF section and you will be here soon.

Thanks Bob! I was shocked to get promoted. I thought I would need a few more wins. And my rank is nowhere near the top 100 -- that is next on my list of things to fix.
And those iron man awards are pretty spiffy too.

A very warm welcome to Bigadier General gheintze.
Dear sir,
Congrats on your promotion.
I see that you already have found your way to the bar, as you have found her on the battlefield.
With all these giants in here I think I have to order an appropriate band to play in the Brigadier Bar.
Welcome again brigadier Gheintze and enjoy your stay in the bar.

Colonel jamesherrell there is plenty of room at the bar so there will be room for you.
There was about seven months between the announcement of Colonel and the announcement of Brigadier - so you may have a few months before we can move onwards and upwards.

By my count you had 78 disctinct wins and 90 overall (SFTF vs real opponents as Colonel).
Welcome welcome, welcome, what took you so long

Thanks, Phread...
I'm not sure who was tagging along after who for Colonel, though...
I don't know how many games I played today, but it was a lot on my day off from work.
And I earned Iron Gun as well, now back to the official scenarios to try for Iron Man and Iron Tank.
It sure is nice in here...

Congratulations to all of you, Sirs! As I have NOT played a single expert scenario at this moment, I guess I will have to endure a very long and hard struggle to catch up with you guys, but maybe this will at least make it easier to keep count of the number and kind of battles that will be required to take me there.

Dont despair, ive only had about 50 wins in expert mode... took me about a week. I will leave the analysis to others. I will say this though, there is life a plenty outwith the official senarios.
