Well, it seems to me 3-3 us the most common result in this tournament this year. Makes for a strange feeling on this tournament compared to other years.
Now I am not saying strange is good or bad, just different. Not sure what I fully think about the 3-3 scores.

I am sure someone with time, could look up score distribution results ... to see if it is just a sense or if it is true.

I'm awful on stats but from bridge i know that if there are 6 outstanding cards in a suit the biggest chance is for a 4-2 distribution, followed by 3-3. Obviously it's not a pure comparison, because in the cards there is just randomness and here the results are (supposedly) a reflection of relative strengths. Maybe a lot of matches are just fairly evenly matched, which only makes things more exciting of course !! [Report message to a moderator]

I thought along the same lines, Bean Good thing is, that the probability of a 5-1 break in Bridge is a lot smaller than the percentage we have here. Conclusion: We can still believe that our results are related to skills rather than pure, crappy, random luck (exceptions justify the rule, of course - I win when I'm lucky and lose when I play badly, for some other players it's the other way round ) [Report message to a moderator]

I have to say it once again: thanks to Dom and to Maximour who so diligently work this thread for us. Besides the result tables on the fantasy & nightmare games, I do enjoy seeing stats about the scores of the matches. And it will be interesting to see if during week 5 scores close up again since matches in 2 of the divisions has rankings 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 match-ups. [Report message to a moderator]
