and some people trying to say Group B wasn't the hardest! The 4th seeded team in our group wins it! (with 6th seed making it to semi finals)
!!No more ELO for seeding!!
...and down with trans-national teams ..or maybe kostasss just needs to move to a real country!

Grats Wasa from my side as well.
You did a great job and played a very good (and probably better) final.
Well done, congratulations for the NC title and Merry Christmas!

Grats Team WASA !
Nice performance at final.
Note:
"" The debate which group was harder to play as well as the change in the seedings for next year, I do not find appropriate. This NC shows us all that each team will win the title. It is certainly known that the teams have not always played with their full strength in the first round. This distorted certainly much. I think the format of what we had this year, we could also like to leave for the future. It certainly makes for more excitement and entertainment to the end.""
Greetings and merry x-mas all

I would certainly agree with a "distorted competition"...but whose responsibility ? Is that so inappropriate to say that a group had consistent lineups every week with engaged people, when in another group the B squad of a team made of retired players still has a chance to make it to Ko ?
But then, debate is still appropriate when we have to define the kind of competition we want : are we just playing for fun like in the fun tourney/ doing a charity so that everybody can have a chance to win/to play for the win or are we playing a competition that nobody wants to lose ?
Playing regularly with a team made of substitutes (de porteurs d'eau ou de laveur de carreaux) in the first round does not help to give the NC its luster back.
I think there is a bit of hipocrisy here. If everybody just plays for fun, then we do not need rules nor a TD...
Most players just dont know what they want...They want a more open event, then they want to be congratulated as if they just broke a world record. They want nc to be the nicest and fiercest competition, but everybody shows up without having trained seriously, or with a lineup made of sub.
If not enough people care, then we should really keep it simple and not lose time building a strong competitive event.

@ Sysyphus
The last years you did a lot for the competition, there is no question about it. And I am pretty sure everyone appreciate it.
But sry dear that was the worst post you've ever written!
I think it's not very fair or polite to write those words after the tourney.
You said, most of players are not sure what they want really.
But do you know it? Probably you want a tourney for top players only, i guess Kostasss will join. Or do you want a tourney with only french players (sry Kostasss but then you are out), so you can be sure that a french team will reach the quarter and not a team, as you said, of retired players?
Just kidding
I'm sure, every participant took his/her matches seriously and played the best he could, but nevertheless it should also be fun to take part at this competition.
If there is no fun, we will get the same we had for a couple years. A NC full of anger, fights and even hate.
Anyhow, there is only one thing left to say....for a member of a team of retired players....
GRATS to the WHOLE WASA Team!
