Availability to play.

If I get enough notice, I can usually work things out this time of year.
I prefer not to go too late any given evening if there is a choice. While I may have less outside to do, I still have to deal with the critters, so can't sleep in. Smile

How late is too late in the evening Rob? As you are in the time right in the middle, we will need to make sure we can accommodate you, unless too late is after 1900 or 2000 your time. Otherwise, I think with some good planning, we will be fine. Very Happy

I am around later evenings unfortunately. My schedule is usually not open until after 2100 or 2200 my time. So, my difficulty will be those games with the eastern players is my guess. Onyx plays pretty late sometimes though, so I am sure we can work out a day that works.

When is the first night we want to meet??

Re:MPWC - Group A Wed, 28 November 2012 19:57
Shouldn't be too much problem with too late.

I just don't want anyone to think that I can go past 22:00 Central too many days in a short period. And, I start to turn into a pumpkin anywhere from 22:30 to 23:00. Smile

It would be nicest if we could run 2-3 games a night to spread it out a little. However, if we set an evening to do a marathon, I can make an exception to staying up late.

I can probably make it Tue-Thus eve this week.
I'll look at more schedule as we get responses from others.

I am available really any evening, if I have somewhat of a notice. Hope to see you all shortly.

Re:MPWC - Group A Thu, 29 November 2012 16:50
So,

Can we play tonight then?? Onyx is now in group F. So, we have 6 of us. I can't play until 2000 or 2030 my time tonight, but you could play a game ot two without me there.

If we tried to play at 2100 eastern, would that be okay? I will do my best to make it ASAP, but probably won't be until 2200 eastern or a little later. Either way, we could try to knock out a few games tonight.

Hopefully everyone will see this in time and we can at least play 2-4 games Very Happy

Sysy can't play again after tonight until Monday. So, let's see what we can get done tonight. So, since Ravage, GFF, Me and Sysy have all replied to this forum, I hope we can all at least play when I am available tonight. If Menno and Doc see this and can play a little earlier as suggested above, we should be able to make tonight a success for sure!!

If you can make it tonight, please respond to this thread that you will be here. Very Happy

Yes I can. I might be pressing time tonight being in the lobby at 1900 MST. I can make it once I have all the puppies handled and dinner done for the night so plan on me being in the lobby around 2000 MST.

Re:MPWC - Group A Fri, 30 November 2012 04:28
Well,

Our last minute attempt at a game tonight didn't work out so well. I didn't make it until 2015, and GFF and Ravage left right as I got on. Menno never made it, and Doc was moving. So, we have our work cut out for us. Doc's new time zone could be interesting...

Let me know your schedule for the next week, so we can try to at least play a few games soon!! Very Happy

Hey guys, sorry for not showing til now, it's been a busy week. I guess I may throw in a bit of a challenge as well because I would prefer not to play after 10 EST time on week nights. Friday/Saturday I could go until maybe 11, but that's about as late as it gets. Most any nights work for me except wednesday nights.

Re:MPWC - Group A Fri, 30 November 2012 15:55
Let's see if we can get some games scheduled. If we make a goal of 3 games per session, we should get done easily.

This weekend - Sysyphus is out. Doc is probably out too. So, that leaves us with a single 4er to play. Probably not worth scheduling any time at this point with less than 5 people. Later on, it may make sense if we have an odd 4er to play.

Monday -
Let's see if we can work out a few games for Monday.
Doc is a wild card here as I'm not sure which end of his day he'll want to play.
If we're able to get Sysy, menno,Rav & myself earlier in the evening we can start with a 4er. Add vball and we get in a 5er. Then, if menno must leave, we run a 4er with the four remaining.

Tuesday -
I'm out for Tuesday. But, if Doc is available, a similar set can be run for Tues. I would suggest running 3 games with Doc if he's able to play to help get his games in.

Wednesday -
Should also work for me. Same idea - load up the front end with games menno has to play and the back end with games vball has to play. Target games with menno and vball in the middle early on. Once we are aware of doc's preferences, we can go after that next. In fact, the middle game should be a 5er until we get them all played.

Best,
Rob

Re:MPWC - Group A Fri, 30 November 2012 19:56
Monday I have surgery early in the morning, so if I am feeling up to it, I should be able to play earlier than my usual that night. However, I won't know how I am doing until Monday during the day.

The rest of the week I will most likely be back to my usual schedule. But, if we can get a few key games played early Monday evening, that should help us.

Hopefully that works for everyone!! Sysy, if there is any chance you can sneak away for a few games than we can do that too.

6:30-10 EST would work great for me as well on monday. Tuesday and Thursday would be about the same with Wednesday looking more like 8:30-10.

To answer Q's question, as I said when I signed up, I would be able to play games from about 22.00 CET and later, but no earlier.

I wish the best for you as well vball, let us know how you make out.

Problem is that 8 pm local time in New Zealand is midnight Mountain time and 2am east coast. That's impossible to gather people at those times i fear.

Doc,

You are 18 hours ahead of eastern time, and 20 hours ahead of mountain time. So, 0630 your time is also not going to work for the US evenings category. In order for you to play US evenings, you will need to be available from 3-6 PM your time, which would be a day in front of the rest of us, but would put us in the range of 9PM eastern to midnight eastern.

So, are you going to be able to play US evenings is the real question...?? Just trying to figure out our scheduling Very Happy

So, are we gathering at 6:30 Eastern Time today like menno said ?

ravage mentioned 6:30 too, but I'm not sure if it is Moutain or Easter Very Happy !

About Doc, our only chance to schedule with him is on Saturday or Sunday American morning /lunch time.

I am trying to be on around 6:30 pm MST.

I need to get the puppies fed and their pen cleaned out first thing.

I am afraid to say that in order for me to schedule a game with Doc, it will have to be on Saturdays. Or if Sunday is preferred I wont be able to play until after 12:30 pm MST on Sundays.

Hi all

When I will be back in tahiti ( December 17 ), I could be available from 3 to 6 P.M your time.
Before I will try my best to be connected when I can and if players are in the lobby, we'll try to play.

1st deadline is 14th of december, 23rd of december is TD deadline.

We need to find a solution here before 14 to have at least 10 games out of 15 in with doc.

While doc is in Auckland, American-based players schedules would fit with a 10am-2pm doc's schedule, which not very convenient.

Which time are you referring to by the 3-6 PM 'your time'? Is that mountain time, eastern time, pacific?? The reason I ask, if it is mountain, central, or eastern, I work until almost 6pm every day, so that still wouldn't fit in the US evenings category. That would be more US afternoons.

We are going to have to figure out a weekend to play with everyone in order to make this work. Otherwise, I fear we will never find a time that works for all of us. My weekends are always crazy busy, especially during the month of December, but I will do my best to fit a weekend that everyone else can. However, there are still 15 games that include Doc, and the other 5 games we should have no problem finishing. So, what is the solution and proposed time to play???

I apologize to everyone who likes to play early as I try to get home from work and have dinner with my family and help my daughter with her homework before I get on in the evenings. I often like to get my kids ready for bed as well, before I log on. Thus, why I like to start later. However, I don't see how I will be able to play from 3-6 unless I play while at work, but there is no way to know how much time I will have...

I hope we can make this work!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

When I will be back in tahiti, my schedule will be very flexible. I will be able to be connected almost when you want ( almost it means just excepted during night ( 1h00-5h00 A.M )

Before December 17 I'm online everyday but apparently never with all of you, just sysy is connected.

5 games down yesterday. Thanks to Doc, Brad and GFF for showing up at that time !

If GFF or Vball can be there on Sunday 6pm Easter, we could have 3 more games played, down to 10.

I guess we could find now a date next week wihtout Doc, we could have all the games without him played too (3 more).

We would then have 7 games to play beyong 1st deadline, with Doc very available at American nights.

I will be there today around 6 Eastern, just might be a mess. I will have 7 kids at my house under the age of 6. So, I might be majorly distracted and may need to take emergency kid breaks, but I will be there...not sure about mentally, but my computer will be on.

Re:MPWC - Group A Mon, 10 December 2012 23:47
Is there a night this week when we can get those last games in?

Starting at 8pm Mountain should be possible to get the last game with menno done.
doc thought it could be ok one night.

Then we could get those last 4 games in.
We need 1 hour 15 minutes to play 5 4ers.
Menno can log off at 10:15pm Eastern.

Suggestion :

Game 21 :

GFF - menno - ravage - vball
Sysyphus - Doc - Ravage - GFF
Sysyphus - Doc - GFF - Vball
Sysyphus - GFF - Ravage - Vball
Sysyphus - Doc - Ravage - Vball

This way, GFF can be done 15 minutes earlier. Menno done first. Brad can a 15 minutes break early for his family.

What do you think ?

I can play most nights this week.

This week is a hectic week for me I have families coming out to pick up their puppies, the ward Christmas party tomorrow night, finishing up all the Christmas shopping, and Dish network coming out for an install.

I can possibly play tonight, Friday night, and or Sunday night. Let me know what works best for you guys.

Re:MPWC - Group A Tue, 11 December 2012 18:37
Things get busier for me the closer we get to Christmas. Starting on Thursday, we have family in town and Christmas parties start this weekend. So, I would love if we could even try to get on for 1 game a night if that worked for everyone. That way we don't take too much time away for people that are busy, but we can knock out at least 1-2 games when we meet up.

I am ok with Sysy's idea as well, just have to find a time we can all do that. Tonight could be hectic for me to be on early, but I could maybe make it on. Tomorrow things are crazy for me until about 8:30-8:45 Mountain time. Thursday, I have no idea what will be going on, but I will have family in town. Friday, not sure here either. Saturday, I'm unavailable. Sunday, I am booked until late that evening. Maybe the earliest I could get on would be 8 pm Mountain time. Next Monday I am unavailable. Tuesday the 18th, not sure yet. But we get more family in town Sunday, so could be more hectic.

So, I think the sooner the better, and if we can even get 1-2 games at night, we will be done before we realize. Very Happy
At least that is what I am hoping!!
