IN consideration of completing RR 1, the TAG match between GURU-GP will be considered a score of 0-0.
The match was not played within the time frame of round 1, so this will be the standing result.
As a note to all players, please work to get your matches scheduled in timeframe of a given week.

However, and a a BIG however... It is NOT possible to start scheduling a tag match in advance for round 1, so it isn't the same situation at all. We can for round 5...

The comments are pretty much this:
Games were usually won or lost based on colors and locos. So, Beef's statement about feeling better about his play on games he lost may be correct because it usually took much better play to even keep the game close.
NG-GP 3:3
Beef - GFF
US 103:129*
Sea-ny/Den-pit vs van-fe/win-hou
Good enough colors and just enough locos. Fairly easy win once Beef has to work around 6 yellow and 6 white. Clearly a matter of who had colors first in NW.
US 100*:103
Van-mon/por-pho vs sea-ny/Den-Elp
had to fight to get across the top. Once that was secured, it was clear I wouldn't have longest, but I could build a big track point advantage. Used that to win despite dropping por-pho. this was probably the best game of the match.
EU 115:80*
zag-brin/ath-ang
Had to draw locos face up, and kept having to pay for tunnels. That means a loss. Beef made sure I couldn't find a way to come back.
EU 107*:123
Barc-Brux/Cad-Stock
Got locos and got the key tracks early.
US 95:88*
Win-hou/ssm-okc vs kc-hou/dal-ny
I should win with this combo. but, I decided to go for a block on a non-existent la-mia play because I felt I had bad colors to play out fast and compete with a big ticket. Bad choice. I lost. Play it normal and I probably win. Well played beef to make it look like a worried player with big tickets. Admit it! I had your la-mia/sf-atl/por-nash/la-ny blocked!

wien-stock/lisb-danz
Once 8'er was gone, I was finished. Had to fight for locos again, but wouldn't matter without the 8er. Beef made sure to secure longest, which swings the game to him the rest of the way while I was busy playing stations.

Angel6 + womble vs Knockando + pomme verte 6-0 (3-0)
A very hard 1st game, with more 6ers for GASP, I needed to draw and found a nice 17, but Angel and Eva had the very very good idea (I never thought about that before) to tie the longest and have 20 more points, what was just enough to win : really nice !
And for game 2 and 3, when very good players have good TAG combos and locos, it's very hard for opponents
Grats Eva and Angel, it was a great match
revenge in final ?

EU - His draw first. I try to lay the 6er, cost 2, couldnt afford, then it cost 1, so already 3 turns behind. Fortunately i had good tickets and managed longest whilst pello started drawing... im fairly sure Marco won if he went for longest... lucky me!
US - I have la chi + la ny vs his kans-hous ssm-nash... walkover game sorry.

PA-MO vs ERZ-KOB . All good completing the tix, no chance to go for longest cause no lokos for placing 2+1 . So i had to draw 2 times... 6 tix near Barcelona and Rome. Kept 1+1 uncompleted. Lost.

Same story of Big Cities, 35 tix for players and i had 3 short tix in the Eastside. Drawed other 2 but Will easily played with 6ers.
