When I type text into my user page, the color choice box is way off! If I click on black, I get red, and so on. This has been going on for a while now. I'm surprised someone else hasn't noticed this first and said something. I am using Firefox version 18.0.1 on a 64bit laptop.

I haven't had trouble with my User Page recently, but I had similar issues a while ago. If I remember right, trying a different Internet Browser fixed the problem. Try something else and see if it works any better.

Oh, but I really like firefox, it has fewer security issues than IE, and is so easy to use!

What about Google Chrome? I'm not sure about security issues, but it's been working pretty well for me. I also don't know if it will actually help with your issue, so it might be worth looking into before switching over to a new browser completely.
