Just playing devil's advocate here, but does anyone see a reason why cavalry units cannot enter bunkers?

Nothing in the rule books forbids it.

In CB2, Hel has a Dragoon unit and two bunkers, and there is no note forbidding it.

I guess the bunkers don't occupy the entire hex, and the horses can hide behind them. Smile

I agree, the riders could be manning the bunkers.
Some WWII bunkers (Maginot Line for example) would have been big enough to stable horses.

I think cavalry units in WWII normally fought dismounted. I've see depictions of dismounted Polish Uhlan's using their horses for cover so I seen no reason why they wouldn't prefer hiding in a bunker.
