Ticket to Ride Goes Android - Available on Google Play (Finally!) Wed, 05 June 2013 16:54
It was a long time in coming, but Ticket to Ride fans with Android tablets can finally pack their bags for a new train ride...
We've just released a digital version of Ticket to Ride for Android. For the first time folks from Mountain View to Timbuktu can experience the world's best selling train game on their Android tablets.

Ticket to Ride for Android includes:
- SOLO and online game play on the classic Ticket to Ride USA map that made the original board game so compelling and popular
- In-game purchasing for all of the previously released digital maps and variants, including Asia, Europe, Switzerland, and USA 1910
- Four distinct AI personalities to compete against
- Players on Android can challenge rail barons playing on other platforms including Steam PC and Mac, iPad, and on Days of Wonder's online portal
- Contextual in-game Conductor's Notes to help you master all the maps

Ticket to Ride for Android will run on tablets with a minimum screen size of 1024×600 (1280×800 or higher recommended), using Android version 4.0.3 or higher. These include the popular Nexus 7, Nexus 10 and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 tablets.

Ticket to Ride for Android is available on Google Play today for $6.99.
Get it now from the Ticket to Ride Google Play page.

This is a new product that required a lot of hard work from the crew...so yes, you have to pay for it just like any other product. It would be like me going into a shoe store and saying,

"Well, I already have three pairs of Nike shoes. I have to pay again to get these ones?! But I'm a loyal customer and they all do the exact same thing. Shouldn't I get a discount or maybe get the shoes for free?"

It sounds ridiculous when we talk about shoes like that, but it's what you're asking for and what other people have asked for in the past. Pay the people for the work they did! Very Happy

Yay! This was a instant buy. Very Happy One question though: how can i play against iOS players with a iPhone? They are logged in on both game center and Days of wonder, but I still cannot connect with them.

Well, I am a new customer, and I was a happy customer. I've returned for refund on Android, and I feel I owe it to you to explain why.

I don't mind paying for the game again, you ported it, you did the work, you deserve to be paid.

The DLC maps are unchanged, however, and I would have to buy those again. I'll pass. I already own them on the PC.

Thanks for porting to Android, though! Maybe at some point in the future I'll feel differently, and will purchase the game again, and the DLC.

Mmm, I don´t think this can be compared with shoes but anyway...

I understand that there is hard work to do the app. so I would pay for the "app" happy, but then I will have to pay again for europe map, swiss map... and that it´s I don´t understand...

¿How much I have to pay to have them all?

Buying the game on andriod while owning it on ipad is like buying a game for the xbox and the playstation. Just because you own the xbox version doesn't mean you can have all the DLC on the playstation version too.
