Among the news: The activation tokens and the paintings of the winners for the Hall of Fame of our tournament.

The Vade Mecum (with a lot of practical informations) and a downloadable PDF version is coming in days (or september for he worse).

It looks like a lot of fun! If I was living in the area I would be signing up today...sadly it would be a long trip for me now.

I love the idea of a portrait of each winner for the Hall of Fame. Great thinking!! WIll there be a Hall of Fame section of the web site where we can admire the pictures from across the seas?

Hi Rasmussen,

You can find the picture here:
http://www.m44club.be/Club_Belge_de_Memoire_44/News/Entrees/ 2013/8/7_Titanos_pour_leternite..._et_au_dela_!.html

And the artist blog/Facebook is here:
https://www.facebook.com/quentingreban

And a list of his books:
http://www.mijade.be/greban_quentin/#

He's mostly a children books artist.
But he's doing portraits "for the fun" Smile

and...by the way... thanks a lot for all your contributions to the M44 community. Smile
I teach the game to my young daughter with the help of your tutos.
And I know teachers that use it for learning the game to young students !

And Antoi, for the tokens, you'll have better pictures here:

The size should be 23,3mm

Thank you for all those links. His artwork is amazing and the portrait is great!! Do you know if any of his books are also in English? My wife and I love his illustrations and would like to get a few of his books for our daughter.

I'm glad you find the material I have done about teaching Memoir '44 useful. It's always nice to know people are using things and that young players are being introduced to the game!! I might have to re-visit those documents soon and update them a little bit. Cool

I think that all the books exist in english version.
Some exist in 20 languages...
In the "children books business", he's worldwide famous and he's invited a lot to show his work in different countries.

For his "work in progress":
https://www.facebook.com/quentingreban

My advice:
Pinochio and Peter Pan (not yet published) are just amazing...
Fiesta, Gipsy Panda and Oops are great also.
The more recent is the book, greatest are the illustrations.
Except the classics, he's the writer too.

And for the Belgian open Vade Mecum: http://www.megalopole.com/ftp/M44_OpenDeBelgique_VadeMecum_L D.pdf

And for the rules:
