IT WORKS!!!

Mostly it's described in the README file included with the download.

But for Mac you should basically need to open a Terminal window, and work
in there instead of the DOS command prompt.

Start off by checking your python version, by typing:

python -V

You want something like 2.7.6. If you don't have that, you can install
from here and find Python 2.7.6 Mac OX S
installer (probably the 64-bit/32-bit installer unless you have a really
old mac)

Then you need to install a python library called 'pillow' - there are some
instructions to get it
here,
but I think I found that the easiest way was to first install "pip" which
is an installation helper. To do that:

- go to this page: https://pypi.python.org/pypi/pip and download
pip-1.5.6.tar.gz

In your terminal window, go wherever you downloaded the file, maybe:

cd Downloads

and then install pip by doing these commands:

tar xzf pip-1.5.6.tar.gz

cd pip-1.5.6

python setup.py install

if you get a warning about not having enough privileges to install, try:

sudo python setup.py install

(you might first need to enable the "root" user - see
http://support.apple.com/kb/PH14281)

Then finally you can install the 'pillow" library by:

pip install pillow

That's all the hard stuff, then you can test the Memoir 44 script following
the directions in the README from "Now test the script". Just use your
Terminal window, and replace 'cython27python' with just 'python'.

Cheers,
Patrick
