This documentary might help you understand where my avatar name "stevens" comes from. It's my way of remembering Roy and Ray. I work at the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, VA and the folks in the video from Bedford are my friends.

Amazing. Thanks for the link to such an interesting video and thank you to all the young men who risked (and still risk) their lives to fight for the rest of us!!

It must be amazing to talk with the young men who went through that! Give them my thanks when you see them next.

It's possible that you have to live in an area where Public Broadcasting (the TV station) is available. Is there any way for you to say that you're somewhere in the United States? Razz

No. I was just around when they were making the Bedford sections. It is nice to see folks you know on the big screen and honored to know them.

We went to the French open last weekend. We visited the beaches and other important D-day places. In the Omaha beach museum we "meet' Roy Stevens and his story. Very impressive!
