Dow Memoir 44 Ranking Mon, 09 June 2014 17:04
Hi all ... I'm just curious to find out ...

Is the ever changing ranking for our Memoir 44 results possible to view?

I know I can access my own ranking in my DoW account page, (currently standing at 25), but I'm curious to know if I can see a current list showing who, at any moment, is in the top 100 say.

It would be cool to contact those who are above me and challenge them to a match, if this were available .. Does anyone know if it is?

Thanks,

Jim

Sure, you can look up the ranking list. Here's what you do:

1) Click on your User Name in the top right corner of the Forums screen.

2) Scroll down and click on "Rank Scores and Details" on the right side, under where it says your Memoir '44 rank.

3) Make sure the first section says, "Memoir '44 online" so that you're looking at the Memoir ranking.

4) Where it says, "Display", change it from "My Games History" to "Established Players Ranking".

5) It'll show you the top 20 ranked players and you can scroll through everyone by clicking on the numbers at the bottom.

Have fun! Cool

That's cool jesse, thanks!

I had only ever got as faras the 'My Games History' readout, and never tried to alter the tab there to the established Players ranking .. awesome ty !

Interesting to see the No1 guy currently has only played a few hundred games, and has a ranking value of '2002' !

There are other strategies for increasing one's rating, such as playing a lot of games against Cadets.

True.

But playing Pegasus Bridge as only the Allies vs cadets is a pretty safe bet. He has played other scenarios, but often with the favored side and mainly against cadets.

I did look at his history and it does tell a story:

Which just goes to prove that ranking alone is not necessarily a good measure of a player's skill, proficiency or honor.
