Card play question Mon, 16 May 2005 10:17
Cards played to combat siege engines and to heal one lifepoint: are these cards played facedown? This would help the traitor, but would mean that no one can check if erverybody is playing according to the rules - one would have to trust each other.

We play them face up (otherwise they can't be verified Wink ).

Have fun! Smile

Against Siege Engines. Played face up.
3 identical to get a life point: we play them face down if everyone is comfortable that no one around the table, Traitor included, would ever cheat in the game. Most people play them face up.
As a traitor, discarding 3 Grail cards before that Quest is won makes it worth it to pledge to never cheat Laughing .

I realize this is an old post and no one probably reads them, but as another post referred me here. The SOC FAQ is clear on this point (page 2) under healing: Discards are facedown!
