Any rumors or news on Elves?

Title is pretty self-explanatory. I don't recall coming across any rumors about when Elves might be added to the BattleLore universe. Given that I've got several hundred nicely painted Elves itching to see the battlefield, I'm wondering if anyone has heard any whispers about when/if the pointy-eared ones might show up?

Only whisper I heard was a "they will show up". And that same whisper didn't mention Undead so the Elves might actually be next.

I like better the norse Elves depicted in Poul Anderson's "The Broken Sword". Also, the setting is sort of a magical early europe too.

Well I hope there is some balance..i.e if they introduce an elf, that they would introduce some other race as well. What that race would be, I wouldn't know since I'm not that up that much on races.
But it should be some race that has an obvious enemy against it..and thus would be easy to introduce and thus get some CtA cards produced for them as well.
Sadly the only races I know, other than the 3 in BL (humans, dwarfs and "goblins" - and I'm putting all goblins in this), are elfs, orcs, halflings and gnomes. And that is from the D&D world I know them..and obviously all the 1/2 races would apply as well to the above, if applicable.
But also I'm hoping they would also introduce an expansion for storming the castle - since that is a logical for a medieval expansion.

Roob,
I have no qualms..but like I said, I'm only familiar with the races in D&D (and this has been quite some time ago..like 20 or so years). So I'm clueless (in the here and now) as to which races have "issues" with other races. So if the lizards have issues with elfs, no problem. But I suspect that there will be more elf archers (since they tend to be of that type) whereas lizards probably be more of the ground/short short type. I could see both as mounted, but both probably would be very limited in regards to numbers.
And as such, I suspect that elfs would be more "nimble" in forests [i.e. bold and/or maybe an extra dice if they have an archer in the forest - I like the latter vs the former ] whereas lizards would be able to take hits (i.e. sword on shields are no effect on them).

Well it seems, at least in the Magic the Gathering world, elves and goblins are "enemies". But if I remember correctly, I think that is because both of them were cheap creatures to cast.
Also, it seems we forgot to mention the all important Undead army (skeletons, mummies, etc)...sigh, how could we forget that based on this time of the year!!
