Spanish championship

Yesterday the final of the Spanish Championship was played in Madrid with 8 competitors. The CAT-Team took the gold, silver and bronze set of trains!

Congrats. I'm curious what the format was. Was it including all the maps like they did here?

The final was played using USA and Europe only. In the previous championships to reach the final, I think other maps were used too.
The format for the final was a first round with 4 matches to decide the four semifinalists: a four-player EU, two-player USA, four-player USA and two-player EU.
The semifinals and the final were a best of three and the players chose to play two USA alternating starting and if needed they played a EU game, to decide the match.
It was fun and good for the online players!

Interesante, a ver si me entero para proximas competiciones.... Aunque sea para pasar alguna ronda regional.
Por cierto, si se juega con publico, podria la gente vigilar y pasar por señas los tickets del resto
O yo soy muy mal pensado....
