Winter Wars and Campaign Book - 3 Questions Fri, 18 March 2011 16:12
Hi

Can anyone assist please?

1. With the breakthrough command cards, with the "move" command, do the units have to be in the same section? e.g. i play an order for 2 on the right and a move of 2. I order the 2 on the right as normal. For the move of 2 i know i can pick any section, but do the 2 have to be in the same section? Can i move one in the middle and one on the left for example?

2. When you score the medals gained on the campaign sheet, you include any victory medals gained (?). So if i eliminated 5 units and gained one victory medal (e.g. capturing a bridge), then i score 6. On the objectives marker, i count this medal again even though i accounted for it already?

3. How does the objective marker work? For example, on 'Flanking Caen', the allied marker - if i got 2 objectives after the first scenario, i tick 2 boxes, so i have scored 2 extra points so far? If i get another 2 on the next scenario i tick 2 more so now i have 3 extra points? As the marker only goes up to 5 boxes that can be ticked, i assume that during this campaign, the allies can only win 5 objectives in total anyway?

Thanks

I can answer # 1 for you.

The "On the Move" orders can be applied as you see fit anywhere across the board.

The answer to questions 2 and 3 are both yes, they work as you say.
