  Showing Cards - To whom??? Thu, 05 February 2004 15:22
Well, I have some questions, which are not clear to our gaming group, since we think they are not clear in the rules...
1. When there are no other cards to Parlatorium and you ask from another player to show you one, do other players get the chance to see that card?
2. In the same case with Scriptorium cards who gets to see the cards? All the players or only the player that has drawn the Scriptorium card?
3. When you get the chance to place other pawns everywhere you want (Scriptorium card), a) do you have to move them and b) if you place them inside a room that an action can take place do they make the action?

Any information would be most welcome... Very Happy

Hello Scrooge,

I've only played the game once so far, but I think I can help you. This is my interpretation of the rules :

1. No, only the player that asked for the card gets to see it.
2. Same case, only the asking player can see the card.
3. A. Yes you do;
B. No, they don't. They only execute the action if they entered the room by normal means ( that is, moving ).

Hope this helps !!

Regards,

Caio.

I would clarify that if the Scriptorium card doesn't have a star in the wax seal, you have to show it to everyone and it takes effect immediately.

Just to carify: the player just take his action in the place where he FINISHES his turn. As the player will have to move in his turn, he'll not have how to do the action in that room you've put him into.
