Sideboard Accessory Tue, 25 June 2013 18:01
I was reading the game briefcase and it reminded me of an idea I had for my own accessory of preference: a set of official sideboards.

We always set up our train cards on top of the edge of the DoW catalog, with the catalog stuck under the board. It makes them a lot easier to pick up.

We are also big fans of variety of multiple maps, but we are busy folks so we don't get to play as often as we like. This means we are constantly digging up the subtle rules variations.

How many tickets do we take at the start?
Where did discarded ones go?
What cards can we draw?
How many players are required to open up double or triple routes?
The two Nordic Country card exchange rules.
Etc.

A face up summary of these rules would be a really welcome addition - one that looks nice, and doubles as a sideboard to ease card draws? The perfect accessory.

Sounds like a great little project for someone!! You could make it and post the files on your User Page for other people to enjoy. I would print it out and use it!! Very Happy
