I know that there is someone in our commutity that has made a chart letting the weather influence the game, but I don't remember who it is.

Another good resource is a book I bought for around $10 US, Campaigns of World War II Day by Day by Bishop and McBabb. Here is a picture of that book:

As you can see, there are maps, descriptions of the battles, pictures, and sometimes drawings. Here is a picture of the cover:
