Sword of Stalingrad, Armour factory combat card. Fri, 31 January 2014 11:07
Ok so my gaming group is playing this scenario this weekend. I just wanted to double check if another Russian player is holding this card and doesn't have the Tractor factory in his section can he still play this card to have the tanks appear there. Just wanted to check since the cards usually affect whats happening in your section.

No, only a player with part of the factory in his section can play the card for it's text.
Other players (Axis and Allies) have to play it for the street fight action.

This has been confirmed by Richard Borg himself somewhere in this forum.

Ok I thought that was the case since the other cards need to be played in the owning players section. I was just a little unsure as there is only a small chance of this card being played for it event text.

We had played this scenario a while back and I couldn't remember what we did, but the Russians may have never ended up with the card so it wasn't an issue at the time. I only just thought about it as I was looking thought the deck.
