Game glitch Tue, 02 September 2014 00:32
What do we do about them?
Where do we report them?

Pegasus bridge; Inf. Assault, It would not let me select the center...yes I was trying to select guy in the middle of the board...not on the line.

Sugar loaf; A tank unit was able to target in-between a hex spine that was blocked by line of sight.
Tank; hill, enemy unit ground, two hexes away in-between a hex spine with a cave (enemy unit) on one side and a hill (vacant) on the other.

Spanish Civil war; no card play for vacant flank.
Example: I have no units on my right flank, I play a card (right flank) and it does not allow me to select (allowable according to the rules/note) a unit in either of my other two flanks.

P.S. I hate it when I play a game that has mines in it, just to find out the computer did not place a mine in the road hex...is there any way this could be set to default?

Not all of those sound like bugs. The Spanish Civil war one sounds like you tried to use a section card for a different section, which isn't allowed. The Mine one sounds like a personal frustration but not a problem with the game.

You can report the other two bugs over here: http://www.daysofwonder.com/en/contact/digital-m44/

Also, you'll get more replies if you post future stuff in the forum for that game. The Memoir '44 Online forum is over here: http://www.daysofwonder.com/en/thread/?frm_id=71

Thx, I will report.

Spanish Civil war, you are allowed to play a card as I stated (Scenario rule).

Three bugs in one day!
The mine thing should be default (yes Frustrated).
Only the AI would place a zero factor mine on a road. Confused

Is this an Official scenario? I'm guessing it isn't, though I didn't have time to look it up. If it's a Scenario From The Front, then the rules aren't always going to work properly because they weren't programed.

In this case, with a scenario rule allowing certain card play, it's not a problem with the game...not a bug. Sorry.

Ummm, do you know that the rules for Minefields require the player to randomly draw the tokens? Players don't get to pick the number or where the numbers go! So the computer is randomly selecting the Mines and placing them on their proper places.

Again, no bug.

It is nice to know that It is a total waist of my credits playing the advanced maps...got to love that, I wont be playing them anymore.

Looks like It is two out of three (glitches).
Yes, I am aware that mines are placed random (computer).
I have not played the board (table) game much, am I to understand that players (oppose to computer game)also place mines at random?

It is the way it is...I sometimes forget, never bring logic into a game.

Yeah, you have to be careful when playing the Expert Mode scenarios. Many people do a really good job and make sure it plays properly. Other people just throw stuff up without checking it or testing it.

Again, you'll find more information in the correct forum here: http://www.daysofwonder.com/en/thread/?frm_id=71

The rules are very clear that in the physical game you randomly place the mines as well. Just the way it is, I guess. Usually the simple presence of mines keeps people away from those hexes...
