I've read where some of you use A&A Minis for this game (using markers to keep track of damage).

Do any of you have any photos of this? I'd be intersted in seeing how it looks. PLease post 'em if you do.

Thanks in advance,

Ed

I don't use them but the Infantry are the same scale so it should look pretty good. Now that A&A Battle of the Bulge is out, people can start adding convoy trucks to the scenarios!

I used the russian expansion from A&A minis for my game. The men are too small and the tanks are too big. Look great but not the same size. We use a single A&A mini tank for an elite armor unit. Confused

I have the Axis & Allies: D-day, and sometime use the infantry figures as my special forces when I play M44. The tan colored British go well when playing the Desert Scenarios also. When I first received the A&A: D-day, I tried to set up and play it, but did not find it as interesting as our great M44.

I've been using Axis & Allies Minis for M44 since they came out a couple years ago. Painted, with all the necessary national types. Much more visually attractive. I use single tanks and keep track of hits with a tiny die (believe me, it's no hassle at all). The late war "monster" tanks are a bit big for the hexes....but guess what? A&A maps use exactly the same size hex as M44, so I suppose they figured this minor overlap was not a problem (and I haven't found it to be....although I'm not sure how I will fit the T-35!)

I could email you a picture if you wish.
