Hi, where can I find the best scores performed on the USA map? I just played on Ipad in a solo mode against 1 CPU player and reached a score of 218, with 11 targets achieved.

Just to clarify what sipperly correctly said:
the object of the game is to win, not to score as many points as possible.
A win by 1 point difference is as good as a win with 200 points difference.
Theoretically you could win with a score below 0 as long as your opponent has done even worse

I'm not sure if there is a place where the high scores from the iPad version are posted. I'm sure you know that you can keep track of your own scores and try to beat yourself, but I don't know of any 'world wide top score' list anywhere.
My best score on the USA map against 1 bot is 198...so nice job with your 218!

At the risk of raining on your parade, the adjective you should have used is "highest" score, not "best" score. I say this because winning with 212 points, and 11 tickets completed, is in no way "better" than winning with 65 points, and 0 tickets completed. In fact, I would bet every penny in my bank account that a player who wins his/her game with 65 points is a better player than someone who wins with 200 points. The reason is: the only possible way one could ever achieve such a high score is through a style of play (collecting, and completing, as many tickets as possible) that would require you to take around 18 or 20 turns to lay down all your trains. No half-way decent player is ever going to allow you to have that many turns or anything remotely close to it. Therefore, if you play this style against a decent player, you will lose 99% of the time.

You guys are all missing an important part of what the OP is asking! He isn't interested in the score you have after battling it out with another player. He said he was playing the iPad version against a computer player and simply wants to know if there is a "High Score" listing.
Playing against the computer, you can play the game of 'collect and complete' and have a great time doing it! There's nothing wrong with that.

That will give him the top score needed for the achievements, but not the top score other people have gotten.
I could be wrong, but I think that's what he's looking for.

I don't have an ipad but whatever this feature is, wouldn't there be a theoretical maximum number of points: optimal route with 45 trains combined with tickets fulfilled along a certain route?
Could be a nice puzzle for someone if it hasn't been done already.
