NC Nightmare Fantasy Game:	Mon, 17 September 2012 04:54

OK, with all the FUN/HUMOR that is meant to be behind it. Presenting NC Nightmare Fantasy Game 2012. What is that? Simple: Pick a team of 6 players with ELO above 21,800 you think will end up with the worst winning percentage by the time the NC Round Robin phase is complete. Rules For this year: YOUR TEAM Your Team ELO total spent on players must be more than 21,800 ELO. (see note in other Fantasy game list for ELO set for NC). You choose a team of 6 players from across 6 different teams. You may NOT include players from your own team in your selection. You may not pick players TD ruled not counted in team count. NO transfers. Who you pick in beginning, is who you get for all the Round Robin weeks. SIMPLE SCORING Any player playing that week, we mark their record. So your week score is total record of your players wins and losses.(so total record will be recorded of your fantasy team players) Teams will be ranked by the winning percentage. (%), lowest percentage being what you are after here. I will try to post weekly winners, as well as an overall winner. Your team must be posted here before the first round robin match. How they are written at that time, is what is set for the weeks of Round Robin Play. Winner may get bragging rights, but not sure how much you want to push this one. example: During week 2, player a went 0-3, player b went 2-3, player c went 0-3, player d was off that week, player e went 1-3, player f was off, Fantasy team total for that week = 3-12 winning percentage .200 You can see the way it worked by looking back 4 pages of FORUM to last years Nightmare Fantasy Team Standings thread This fantasy game is just for the Round Robin stage. This is to be taken for the FUN it is meant to be and not harmful. If it is too mean-spirited, it will be dropped immediately. and let me note again, 3 years ago I did have the worst record in NC 2009, so many of us are willing to take the hit for your Nightmare team. ALL TEAMS MUST BE POSTED HERE BY Sept. 23rd, 23:00 CET. (note: please post earlier than 23rd, since I thought tourney started on 24th, but it starts 21st.) Also, Please post team with player number. Sniff, we were such a fantastic team and won this title last year, it was a big celebration, drinking a lot... (shhhhh... I promised to hold my tongue) , and we swore to defend our title: me, Captain Lupo and my fantastic team: Urgestein, Heizer, Maunaloa, Cocco, Pacmon and the unforgotton hero Surfaholic! But three of my invincible team retired: Maunaloa, Cocco and Surfaholic - where are you? Dea has no clue obviously Given my current rank after a lot of bad mulit's im really bad value in this thread! Not saying I should be in everyone's dreamteam but my rank is far lower than normal! I wont select Dea in revenge though... Just beat them in the nightmare competition... and ITA dandee cant count to 21,800 needs to be above! Everybody knows Napoleon is French, and there's only one true dictator. There can also be only one true nighmare team and by defenition no SOS player can be on it. Sticking with NC themes, meet Truck's top 6 Bond Villains. Team: "No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die" 1. Ernst Stavro Blofeld: Elric - Sancerre 3825 Leader of SPECTRE, good hair, has a pretty white kitty. There can only be one true crime overloard. Not surprisingly he's captain of the French. Many other villains have been modelled after Elric, but only Voldemort and Hanibal Lecter come close to resembling the pure evil that is Elric. Highly overrated on the TTR ranks though. 2. Scaramanga: Miguel blahblah de blahblah 3838 The man with the golden gun, professional assasin. Has a little brother side-kick who listen's to the name "Knick-Nack" who is best to be ignored and thrown overboard in a suitcase when you have the chance. Overrated. Miguel's a loose-cannon on the board. Doesn't say what Tenniskasi tells him to, though he expects his opponents to profusely appologize when they have been "lucky". 3. Max Zorin: DrakeStorm AMD 3787 Mad genius, former KGB experiment, freak. Has a thing for Grace Jones. Drake - overrated, obviously - has an unhealthy drive to be nr. 1 ranked on as many obscure maps as humanly possible. Spends most of his spare time painting Warhammer dolls and learning Klingon. Fairly clueless on the US map, but he tells himself this doesn't matter. 4. Sir Hugo Drax: SNS - Robin 3588 Least relevant Bond villain ever. Not really evil, not that smart, mildly unattractive. Even his sidekick turns sides halfway through the script. Unsure what the plot is anyway. Robin likes to think he's on team GB, but nobody really knows. Rumor has it, he's only ever played 3 2P USA games, but due to budget and deadline concerns, Robin and his equally 2P USA challenged buddy Phil (a.k.a. "Jaws") were let on the team nonetheless. Overrated, underrated ? Who knows and who cares. 5. Rosa Klebb: AT_dea1 3620 KBG defector, SPECTRE nr. 2, not your prototypical Bond girl. Dressed to kill -literally- with poisonous spikes in her shoes. Given her bridge background and complete lack of social skills, you would think dea's actually pretty good at TTR, but she's not. Thinks re-distilling already crappy fermented wine is the way to go. One of many "non-true" nr.1's to have ever insulted the real true TTR gods: everyone who beat schwen and mudda more than once in 2005. 6. Auric Goldfinger: TIC Hecki 3673 Epic Supervillain, modest golfer, cardcheat, good with lasers and prefers to paint women in gold rather than talk to them. Like dea1, Hecki once reached nr 1 in TTR, but like Will (who's not in this list, but I'm sure would like to be), this was completely misplaced as all true nr. 1's know. Knowing his own limitations (something positive there), Hecki spends most of his time admiring his chest-hair and picking fights with the Brits. Doomed to lose many games this year.
